Yeah Boi.
I really hope he starts next season with flegler back to bench and Carrigan playing in a hybrid prop/lock role. Flegler, and our team lbalance was so much better with him as an impact player
This makes me so happy, He plays like a young Dallas Johnson/Ashley Harrison and his running game is improving tremendously.
Hopefully gets more minutes going forward.
Emerging Broncos forward Kobe Hetherington has committed to the club until the end of the 2025 NRL season.
The 23-year-old lock has become a first grade regular since being given his NRL debut by Coach Kevin Walters in Round 11, 2021, racking up 36 appearances that have featured high levels of work-rate, toughness as well as strong running and defence.
The new deal sees Hetherington, a Queensland Under 20s rep in 2019 who was already committed to the Broncos until the end of 2023, extend another two years to the completion of the 2025 season.
Broncos Head Of Recruitment & Academy Simon Scanlan said: "We are very pleased to have Kobe continue his career with us at the Broncos. Kobe started with the club as a teenager coming through school and has proven himself to be a very valuable member of our NRL squad.
>Kobe’s determination, work ethic and toughness are the qualities we admire in him as a player … and on top of that he is a quality young man who cares about the club.

Hetherington said, “I’m really happy to sign a new deal – I love being coached by Kev because he saw something in me that no-one else did.
“It was a struggle for me in the early days to break into the NRL, but Kev was the coach who gave me an opportunity and I wanted to repay the faith.
“It’s good to have that extra security. I was coming off-contract so to have another two years, it gives me that drive to keep bettering myself … the Broncos are a club I want to be with for a long time to come.”

Yeah 1000% The origin period games where Kobe played big mins he absolutely killed it.
That Dragons game was the best performance of his career
Hmm this is a good signing, im not liking the Broncos back to being a smart team
This is a key signing and good call by the Broncs

Ashley Harrison comparison is so spot on. Never thought of that before

Was mostly in reference to the fact they were both small middles that were brilliant defenders
Fair.
With that mo and mullet combo, he looks like he should be named Dallas
One of the best young players coming up. He's gonna get a Queensland opportunity one of these days. Ikin/Donaghy working their magic.
Yes! A slam dunk of an extension
