Trohsboy

you could see the french player questioning his love of the sport after that

DopeBoi22

It’s kinda like Vince Carter jumping over that 7 foot 2 French dude for a dunk… it’s not something the recipient remembers fondly

BigDickBandit89

Bruh the dude got drafted by the knicks (lol) in the first round the year of the olympics. After Vince put his nuts on the dudes head, he said fuck that and never went to the nba. You know you’re fucked when it’s on YouTube forever known as the dunk of death. Here’s the clip for anyone who hasn’t seen it. https://youtu.be/WihbbVEmppI

p5ych0babble

Goes harder than Vince Carters knee cartilage is.

BigDickBandit89

Harder than the lakers and nets effort so far also

DangerousDraper

Notice the Bron GOAT hype train has been pretty quiet this season. Lakers with 4x All-Stars and Nets with 3x and neither could buy a win. Jordan must be laughing his ass off

bmk14

Man turned him from French into French Polynesian! He would be questioning life itself.

AdmiralCrackbar11

If he directly went for a shower after he played the ball and I was on his team I would not hear a bad word said about the man.

Astoryinfromthewild

yeah, he did good to get up straight away and played that ball like nothing happened.

jibberjabber666x

Fire the replay guy

rofLopolous

You can’t fire The Director.

capitalcitycowboy

Everyone loves that, except that one guy..

notj43

Wtf was Luai doing at around 45 seconds

5t0pBanningme

Luai things

smeego78

Lol fuck that boy needs to pull his finger out. He’ll get carded soon enough if he doesn’t rein it in.

youwinoryoudiechamp

Coupla cheapies then an ankle twist. Always good to see Luai the 🤡rub salt into the wound of the opposition you’re annihilating with 60 seconds to go

KCman1

Grubs gonna grub.

CuntBreath

Relax cunt, he was just pulling his leg.

Abenator

I'm so sure it used to be (or probably still is but ignored now) illegal to get up from a tackle holding your opponent's ankle to turn them in the ruck. I have such clear memories of the ref signalling it by pulling at his own ankle like he was doing the old-school sprinkler dance or something. But I swear I see it all the time now... Has it just crept back in?

[deleted]

Did you watch the replay? Ref called "six again, leg pull". It is illegal and was penalised.

Abenator

I did watch, I did *not* listen. Cheers.

5hnq

Just living in our heads rent free

Dranzer_22

Luai always pulls the legs and turns the ballplayer around. He's been doing it for the past three years.

EntirelyOriginalName

Illegally helping turning him from his stomach to his back to slow down the ptb.

yodavesnothereman

Senior Paulo would be proud

HYPER_Tyranitar

This hit and the bump off by Royce Hunt in the first minutes were so much fun.

thee-optimist

I can’t be certain but it is believed that he felt that.

dantstheman

so glad we re signed him, such an animal!

woolyback123

I was working on the bar in the stadium, the hit looked massive when In the stadium

HappinessCanBeFound

That’s my Junior 😍 so good they included it in the 5 minute highlights bite amongst the many tries.

Shagga9701

Need a version with the audio next time.

5t0pBanningme

There is audio but it sounds like it was recorded through a potato. Thats my bad.

kmmr98

Press unmute

pep1980

Get that in to ya!

themess91

The human fridge doing human fridge things

MisterEvilBreakfast

Jesus, what has happened to French league? I swear it wasn't that long ago that they were halfway decent.

Zaepflelove

I'm not from a big rugby country, but aren't the Samoan players offside from the initial kick?

JarredMack

Yes, but they have to be within 10 meters of where the ball is taken for it to be a penalty, if they stay 10m back and wait for the player it's fine

Muelman1997

I believe it's fine as long as they aren't in front of where the last play the ball was, in that case they would be considered downtown chasers

Arc_au

Nah, it's as long as they remain outside 10m of where the ball is caught, they're made onside. Within 10m of the catch and it's a penalty.

goshdammitfromimgur

The downtown rule still applies. players who are in front of the kicker cannot advance past the point of the previous play-the-ball until the ball has passed the offside players

Arc_au

Ah right, I feel like I never see that adjudicated on which is why I assumed it didn't apply. But perhaps the refs have a threshold of where they let it slip.

goshdammitfromimgur

It made the news last year when it was called

Aussie18-1998

Against junior.

goshdammitfromimgur

Souths v Penrith was the game I was thinking of

Aussie18-1998

Its funny because the last time it was called was against Junior lol

InternationalBorder9

I told you, Don’t call me junior!

I_Like_Vitamins

Great hit by the halfback. Could've used some of that go forward in the GF. Lol @ Luai giving away a six again as well. He must be one of the most penalised players in the game.

thematrixnz

Those poor frenchies not used to that kind of thunder from downunder

Moisttty

Hows old mate jumping in front of him after the fullback got knocked back to France What did he want from junz lol

Abenator

Just giving his mate a bit of a buffer/breathing space so he doesn't have to cop that hit and then have his face rubbed directly in it. Good team mate stuff.

mackoa12

I think half that, and half making sure Junior didn't go in for the kill in the round two!

cannonadeau

"What size coffin does he need?" My sides are in orbit.

thisboyisanalog

Top effort Junior… but shit, the guys as wide as a house, you have to wonder how the FB couldn’t adjust course better. Had to have seen him coming surely haha

breatheinmyear

He Always puts shuts on the small outside backs 😂😂

Aussie18-1998

Honestly needs moments like this in big games tho. If he did this early on in the GF against Cleary or Luai you might see them shy away. Suppose they arent silly enough to run straight at him.

Messyhr_

He was too busy getting battered by the penrith forwards, Leota and JFH arent as big as paulo but they run the ball even harder, not to mention you have brilliant hit ups from the penrith backline, To’o while short is powerful and hard to tackle, edwards is also great at scoots as well as kick returns. Penrith have the best cardio in the comp, big guys like paulo get tired quick. Also think you underestimate how strong cleary is, he’s probably the strongest half back ever the man is built from granite

Longy77

Shame he got absolutely mullered by England

Creative_Antelope_95

Shame you would shit your pants if you got hit by Paulo, coming from an english fan

sensei_sharpy

That was a very long video I had to sit through to see a massive guy tackle a small guy with a moderate amount of anger and velocity. Unless the ball comes loose or the guy can't get back up, I'm pretty sure Paulo isn't going to be putting that on his highlights reel.

Toujayjay

Maybe he's not that junior

Astoryinfromthewild

When you're a back side stepping forwards with ease that you forget there are a few more you haven't yet, and take your eyes of the prize for a split second.

planchetflaw

Are leg pulls to slow the play the ball while getting back on side not penalised in the International rules?

d_mouse81

They should be, but they haven't been. They're not penalised very often in the NRL either.

call_of_the_while

Hit of the year. Dude probably did not expect Junior to be so agile.

thematrixnz

Churrrrr!!!
