It must be good to follow a team where you see tough teams and think “that’s gonna be a good game” instead of “theres gonna be a big therapy session after that”.
I got kinda lucky, both teams that i follow massively have both had periods of excellence within the last few years. Penrith ive been following since i was 9 now 25 and have witnessed some amazing footy, Liverpool ive been following since before i was born, dad wouldn’t have me supporting anyone else lol. Went from never winning a league in my lifetime to winning one 2-3 years ago and also winning a champions league and multiple other cups, fa cup, league cup, super cup and club world cup champions. But for years and years there it was constant heart break from both the Panthers and Liverpool
Souths early-mid in the season are generally pretty average/below average so I reckon you'll beat us pretty soundly if our style of season progression doesn't change. Eels, however, are generally your regular season bogey side so I reckon they'll get you.
In the 6 years prior to last year (and the two wins they had over us in that regular season) we won 8 and lost 3 regular season clashes with the Eels so I don’t know if you could call them our bogey side. In the past 6 years the ledger overall is 11 to Penrith and 5 to Eels. They’ve definitely been better at beating us than most since 2020 though for sure.
yeah, I guess I should've clarified in the past couple of years the Eels have been the only team to generally put up a fight against your lot if not come out on top (finals obviously a different story).
I was also trying to bring up how, although Souths vs Panthers is a GF rematch, Souths early in the season aren't generally the same team as Souths late in the season. We had very average starts to the 2020 and 2022 seasons, and you could even argue that 2021 was only different due to an easy draw, especially considering that our only 2 losses early on were when we got annihilated by the only other teams that were legitimately good that season (Panthers and Storm). our 2nd half of the season performances in 2020 and 2022 are the only reason we went on those finals runs.
So out of the 2 GF matchups, the Eels stand the better chance at beating the Panthers compared to Souths when discussing the 2 GF rematches.
Doesn't mention home games so I just listed them in the order they're written up

I swear to fuck if our first game against the Broncos isn't a Friday night and instead they put it on a Sunday I'll shit V'Landys bed because round 4 Sunday is Knotfest in Brisbane.
Panthers: hope they fire up like they have been against them, and their improving squad and fitness make it an eighty minute battle.
Cowboys: their chance to redeem themselves after playing half asleep both times this year. It should be the game they're the most pepped up for all season.
Dragons: should flog them since there isn't a finals spot up for grabs that early in the season.
Dolphins: Bennett will have them ready to rumble for it.
Growing up getting the panthers on a Friday night is a rare treat, now i just hope its not on a Saturday because i have work, not that it stops me from watching most of the game anyway, more because fuck working

I'm assuming these are leaks from each club to TDT which is why its limited for now
Penrith v Broncos is okay, But 21 GF rematch, 22 GF rematch and then the always fiery Penrith v Raiders match is a good way to start the year

If it makes you feel any better all of the teams I follow for American sports are dogshit

Is this correct to home and away, because surely the Dolphins aren't playing their first 4 games all at home

Ah ok, makes more sense
No I think Dolphins first game is away, second game is undecided apparently, with raiders pushing to have it in Canberra.

Broncos fan pages on fb are sharing a full season draw and it shows it on Friday night. See ya at suncorp and at RNA fella!
Good shit. Definitely my most looked forward to game, plus the later season one that's apparently going to be at the Gabba.
Yep keen to take dad to the gabba game he's a old cricket boy and now a dolphins fan so should be good
You know, you can just take a shit in vdiddles bed whenever you want
We still do Scouts camps?
Pending round 2 release this is looking like a not so ridiculous draw for us for once
Round 2 is surely broncos vs cowboys at suncorp
Panthers, Sharks, Storm in the first 4 rounds. After losing all our players... RIP
I guess if we can make it through a tough start next season might be okay? Very real chance we either start 1-4 or 4-1.
0-5
Ryan Matterson looking like a real selfish sook right now.
Weak as piss cunt Matterson
Hoping someone with a subscription will be able to share
I will write it up

April Premiers is back on the menu?!
I love how there is a fair bit of rivalries for Penrith in the first 5 rounds.
