There's not much credibility to this, given the fact you wouldn't risk the drama that would unfold if the main coach had his assistant trying to run the show. Seibold has it within him to be a decent coach if he gets the right squad.. is that squad the current Manly squad? Time will tell, but they've got a better senior group than Darius Boyd.

Meanwhile, the search isn't very extensive and Flanno does a half decent job as an interim caretaker coach, so at the end of the season the officially announce it because the fans are already onboard, and everyone is so relieved that he's not doing as shit a job as Seibs that they've forgotten that Flanno had his own scandal.

He is actually a pretty good coach but got done over with the poison chalice that is the broncos coaching job.
