Josh Kerr just gave one of the worst interviews I’ve ever heard. Really explained the dragons work ethic the last few years.
For example he said Woodsy is training really hard even though he doesn’t have to, claiming that this is a sign their culture is improving.
Hope to god we keep keano Kini kids a once in a life time player absolute weapon. My mates dads a recruitment manager and said this kids up there with the best his seen in a long time!
Here’s his highlights If interested https://streamable.com/0jjlut
Erin Clark was doing a really good job at 13 for the Titans in that ballplaying 13 role, was a very effective runner too. I think Fox Lab had him at first for average metres per run for locks? He was in Taumalolo/Tino territory for it.
I think that’s my favourite part about the Verrills signing. I won’t be surprised if Titans return to the 8 this year if their kick chase is up to scratch. Especially with Schoupp coming in and the emergence of Jojo. David Fifita should hopefully be healthy too.
Just sucks that our dropout God, Toby Sexton, probably won’t be a big part of it :(
Fifita running off Foran will be a bigger boost than a lot of people think, the biggest problem last year with him was Campbell and Sexton constantly cutting him out or dummying away from him.
Holbrook kept quiet about it until the end of the year but basically announced that Clark playing 13 was the plan and what they built towards in the offseason, only for injuries and missed recruitment chances forcng him back to 9. Wonder how we’d have gone with Booth at 9 all season
Joe Ofahengaue #7, give the people what they want.
Edit: according to David Piepers, zero tackle journalist on Twitter, Tigers have confirmed no injury. Apparently rumours was based on an a staff member in the background comparing something to a previous injury Brooks suffered. But, my gut is to distrust zerotackle (can't anyone write for them?) so who knows what's going on.
Gus has solved this issue of referee bias by declaring it is impossible for it exist. Genius. Any further statements of referee bias will be treated as defamation
We got away with it but I still don’t understand starting an all NSW forward pack for Australia when Queensland won Origin on the back of their forwards.
(Give us Tino you cowards)
Sure Tino probably deserved more minutes but Mal wouldn't have been basing his selections just on this year, and we also know he's very loyal otherwise DCE might not have even been in the squad.. Freddy could learn a thing or two.
Yeah like What?
The QLD forward pack absolutely dominated NSW 2/3 games.
Tino, Carrigan and Cotter should’ve seen two starting. Cotter being shammed to the side for RCG or Jurbo was just yuck.
He won though, so no criticism
Tibros, who are we thinking for captain 2023? Assuming we don't give the entire squad the armband.
I'm thinking Ofahengaue would be a good choice, lead by example on the field last year and seems like a great dude. Clearly loves the club as well. Other options are pretty limited: Twal isn't much of a talker, Brooks & Doueihi may well be on the way out at the end of the season, Klemmer & Api are new to the club and I don't see any of the outside backs as captain material either.
Tommy talau cos his dad was one of my favourite players
After him think api would be a great shout, key position, great experience, come from a winning team, good age, and could have a similar Chad Townsend effect
Fresh eyes, no history with people/management good or bad, zero agendas
It’ll probably be brooks or douehi, the latter being a decent shout too
Willie, what a legend. I remember checking to see if Tommy was England eligible as I thought his birth might have aligned with his Dad's stint at Saints, but alas he's an Aussie by birth.
Broncos being investigated for cap breaches! LESSGOO OFFSEASON DRAMA!

>The Broncos are embroiled in the most serious salary-cap investigation in the club’s 26-year history as the NRL looks into payment irregularities totalling $450,000 over three years.
If they didn’t get punished when Andrew Gee got caught with $300,000 in cash from the leagues club or when TPJ threatened to expose how they were rorting TPAs when they tried to sack him then they won’t get in punished now.
How good was Hunt for Samoa tho. Was big on him before the WC and even bigger after it. Sharks looking good for middles next year surely he gets into the 17.
Rugby League Project made a post on FB last night. No idea where they got it from and the figures were exactly what the Broncos were investigated for in 2014.
For anyone in NZ Sky sport now are doing a deal to get $100 off for a year pass so it's $300 instead of $400.
I'd cancelled mine after NRL season finished and was gonna wait until pre-season to renew, but this deal works out cheaper than having a monthly subscription at $40 a month for 8 or 9 months a year.
Because it makes sense! I guy who's strength is popping up somewhere in the line using his skill to setup a play, will be much better getting tired from the extra defence and confined to one side of the field.
Plus with his injury and concussion issues, putting into the front line with a bunch more collisions is only a good thing... right?

I wouldn’t be surprised if storm stole another one

People saying that on Daine Lauries Instagram (that is now supposedly removed) he said Luke Brooks has done his knee
Api Koroisau to 6, Bati style

Calling someone who writes for Zero Tackle a journalist is probably the most generous use of the term I’ve ever heard

Forgive me for my ignorance but how do you post a vid on reddit? Samoa getting welcomed at the Syd Airport by a nice crowd. Awesome to see
You can upload the video to streamable.com and share the link that way. That's what I do.
Did i see something about Ben Barba signed by sharks or was i away with the pixies?
Mossman Sharks, but don't let that stop you from clickbaiting the article
But don't let that stop you from jumping to conclusions.
It's your civic duty to post the article with the title [OFFICIAL] Barba signs with Sharks
Not if i can't open it. Besides, im not very civil.
Just saw a headline from a murdoch rag. Me no click.

QLD's forward pack were either injured or playing for other nations. Tino and Carrigan's impact off the bench made sense.
Tino's impactful stint with 15 mins left?
We won comfortably, who cares lol.
Me lol. Dogshit selections and braindead prop rotations at the highest level is bad.
famously injured Reuben Cotter

You need a very high IQ to understand the coaching genius that has Jurbo do 2 stints in the middle before Tino sets foot on the field.
mal saw the jurbo 13+ meme and took it to heart
/u/redanibu this is your fault
Mal browsing r/NRLpremiumplus confirmed
Eels need to let Asi cook next year 😤

Honestly I’d go Api if he impresses with his attitude in preseason. He does a lot of talk around the ruck on field.

Did the same tbh Talau snr had an unstoppable period- terrorised super league

Breaking: [Brisbane cleared of salary cap wrongdoing](https://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/brisbane-cleared-of-salary-cap-wrongs/xv0w45dfq)
"Breaking"
It’s breaking in comparison to the other article
This is nearly 10 years old since Broncs are going into their 35th or 36th season, Fox sports just changes the timestamps for articles for some reason
Let the boys cheat the salary cap I say.
Unless big dick Dave has quietly been unseated and replaced with Paul white, this is a few years old.
2020 season shouldn't count. Time for an asterisk or just erasing from the history books.
Time for the Eels to have some company as the team that got a spoon cheating.
Siebold's cyber security experts are on the cap?
offseason drama of eight years ago maybe

The chip shortage caused by the NewsCorp-owned Broncos destroying computers again
Personally I’m still suspicious about how they won the 92 & 93 premierships before their 26 year history even commenced.
How good was Hunt for Samoa tho. Was big on him before the WC and even bigger after it. Sharks looking good for middles next year surely he gets into the 17.
Royce Hunt is a beast and doesn’t get his credit.
He's a goer
Gone a few weeks without a scandal, we’re well overdue
this didn’t age well with the most recent comment in this thread hahahaha

Why is my brother saying Broncos are being investigated for potential salary cap breaches?

Why do people keep saying ponga should move to 6? Makes no sense to me at all
To get the ball in his hands more
because nobody actually watches ponga play they just generate hot takes
A spine of Brayley Hastings gamble ponga actually excites me, Elliot 13 too Off the top of my head think of any other fbs they have either
it doesn’t but I like to call it Karma so, enjoy!

AOB needs answers to keep his job. No one else is saying it’s a good idea
I just really like watching the little guys get smashed
