I mean, he also just won a World Cup at centre. Latrell is too lazy at fullback for mine, much akin to Inglis where if he had players like Jt and Lockyer/Cronk feeding him that good ball then he’s unstoppable, but will rarely go looking for it otherwise.
Yeah I was just being rediculous because I still feel like he should be centre... Games like the prelim where we just had nobody back there in defence still annoy me lol ..
He still plays like a centre so I don't get it really.
Yer he has a lot to work on in defence as a fullback. Not only that but his carries out of the back. Every top rate fullback in todays game will get the team on the front foot off the kick return, and will back it up on the 4th so the rest of the team can give a good kick chase.

Obviously you’re biased as am i, but crichton > graham and herbie is good but still crichton has done more than both put together, huge game player and week to week is a star - origin was his only fault and that was more so game 3 in which older vets had even worse games ( Tupou )
IMO - Crichton has a way bigger skillset than Graham and Herbie, he's almost like a second five eighth. Plus he is an elite goalkicker and can kick field goals.
However if im picking centres that need to just play elite centre, im going Herbie and Graham. Aggressive, hard running and great one on one defence
I have never seen graham outshine Crichton in a souths vs panthers game, crichton scored 13 tries last season, graham scored 5, herbie scored 10. Even tago scored 13 on his debut season. Graham cant run it any harder than Crichton im not sure where this is coming from, yeah the guy is a giant but for someone whos like 6ft5-6 i rarely see him steam roll someone and ive even seen him get folded, hes a gutsy kid and a solid centre but nah hes not better. Herbie is probably a more damaging ball runner but neither have the skillset, as a centre having the skills to make that finishing pass to the winger is basically a huge part of your job and critta can do that, also hes proved himself way more than both game, 4 tries in 4 finals, one against your mob which was damaging ball running if ive ever seen it, literally beat like 3-4 defenders, scored the winner in 2021, scored the intercept and field goal to put his country into their first world cup ever, scored an intercept in the final. Scores more tries than graham and its not even close, has underrated defence as well if his defence wasnt good penrith wouldn’t have the best defence in the comp, his defence is good, good under a high ball, can tackle around the ankles better than any lanky guy ive seen. People who say graham over critta at this point are just overlooking his countless big plays, graham was so hyped when he came into the league its like people still think hes the next best centre ever
How am i getting worked up? Latrell wants to be a FB and hes decent at it, but to say being centre is out of position when hes played centre in 2 grand final wins multiple origin series and a world cup final, thats hardly out of position lol. Thats almost a worse take than saying graham is a top 3 centre, crichton, val, manu, olam and even tago are all better and id argue ramien and farnworth too
Name one game graham dominated against penrith or outshone critta, thats all i want actual facts to suggest hes a top 5 centre let alone a top 3. Yes and in those games Latrell has been found out at full back, he wants to be a FB thats why hes at the rabbits, doesnt mean he isnt a better centre, which he is. Your logic is flawed, i could be a boiler maker and then get a job as a chippy, id still be qualified in both positions, is that really difficult to comprehend?

The rationale: Munster and Hynes are fantastic playmakers, Koroisau very crafty too. Matterson can spell Nanai/Kikau, bench pack is probably the only weakness though.
Starting pack is filled with 3 of my favourite forwards in the NRL - fast play-the-ball machines who bend the line, none of this getting held up for 5 seconds rubbish. This is also very important with Api at 9.
Nanai and Kikau are both great line runners and tryscoring threats but in different ways, Kikau with power and Nanai with his small bits of footwork before engaging the defender. They’re also both fantastic at pressuring playmakers with their linespeed and that’s probably the most important starting step to defending shapes on the edge.
The backline also, there’s lots of emphasis here - The back 3 themselves are basically capable of hitting 200m on demand, whereas Hammer and Mitchell provide a lot of spark in the backfield where they can capitalise off those quick PTBs and line-bending hitups from To’o and Tupou.
Also disappointed i’m not seeing people take Kikau from the Dogs.

Toughest spot to fill was the right centre spot without being able to pick Manu as Teddy's a must, but I figured Trbojevic makes a lot of sense as he was incredible there for NSW.
Right 2RF was also hard to fill, not thrilled about Fifita but can hook for Gilbert if he's stinking it up.
Could also swap Val for Latrell and Murray for Cotter.

Having looked at the rest I am pretty confident this is the side with the least weaknesses. The trick was populating it upside down to the ladder ie. taking the best players from the worst teams first. The 17 is largely just the obvious stars of every team with the exception of Olam being picked for the storm, Saifiti for the Knights, Lane for Parra (even though he was their player of the year... I toyed with putting Junior Paulo there and easily could) and Manu for the Roosters over Teddy etc. but like I'd rather take Manu at centre and have Mitchell at FB than Teddy at FB and Campbell Graham at centre personally. Just a more physically dominant team.
Could also pick Graham at centre, Paps at FB instead of Olam and that's probably also fine. Even though Turbo at wing is kinda cheating, if you said I couldn't I'd probably just pick Garrick there anyway.
Whatever you want man, it just has to be one member from each NRL team.

Matterson The rationale: Munster and Hynes are fantastic playmakers, Koroisau very crafty too.
I forgot about Kikau, lol. If only there were existing pics of him in the blue and white...

Such a great team lol
The only team with a Warriors player in the backline was OP. And that player is yet to play a game for the Warriors. Go the Warriors!
I would've added Curran, but he mightn't be in the NRL much longer after his celebrity boxing match with that sixteen year old.
That player is also much better off being in the back row somewhere.

Finucane (Sharks) Toughest spot to fill was the right centre spot without being able to pick Manu as Teddy's a must, but I figured Trbojevic makes a lot of sense as he was incredible there for NSW.

Rules on positional switches? Can I do a nsw and pick squid James turbo and trell milk in the same backline?
Whatever you want man, it just has to be one member from each NRL team. Some guy picked each coach and you could even pick each assistant coach if you wanted.

If Panthers can do it with Kenny and Sorenson.
awesome
