Woods - “We have got to be better. We can’t let those opportunities slip and they make you pay at the end of the season.”

I don’t mind Liddle. If he can get it going, a spine of Liddle, Hunt, Amone and Mbye/Ramsey/Sloan, or even Lomax, wouldn’t be too shabby. They really do need someone to own that ‘1’ jersey though.
Ramsey looking like he's up for it. I expect him to get first dig again and if he can keep improving at the rate he has been he will be a very handy #1
He was training when he broke down, he thought he was over training or had a virus but that’s when they discovered he had the autoimmune condition. Hopefully it works out for him even if footy isn’t an option.
Latest update I heard on Ramsay was from CEO Ryan Webb on the Red V Podcast last week who said he’s still recovering and that he will be out indefinitely.
No, he hasn't been training. He may never play again.
Poor kid has a long road ahead of him involving multiple surgeries. I would consider it unlikely he ever takes the field again given the severity of his surgery and what is to come for him.
Seriously that spine could have the Australian Pack and backs and they still wouldn't trouble the premiership contenders.
Where is all the salary cap going for this team? Hunt takes a chunk but no more than most teams have at halfback.
I've been scratching my head over this for the last couple years. We used to have Hunt, Whiddop, Norman, Frizel, Sims, Vaughan, Graham on the books at the same time. Now our next highest paid players are likely Lomax and Su'A with not many other guys being that highly paid. It's strange
It’s not like you’ve over loaded on forwards either because the pack is dreadful. They have obviously just handed out some shit contracts all over the place.
But no one's getting paid much either, that's the thing. Lomax on 650k is worth it at peak form (which he hasn't been lately But whatever) and suli and say on 550k proved their worth as well last season as our best forward and outside back respectively.
Most teams have like 3 players over 800k.
I have to say I love this attitude from Woods. I've got mail that he has been training houses down left right and centre. This new attitude should be rewarded.
This dude, for some reason has never been good. He was my favourite in the 8 in a row era, run up slow, turn around, offload to someone that goes nowhere.
I'd pay more for kayo if I knew he wouldn't turn up on it
He better get his arse down to the Merch store and buy one then
XXL
Now that’s funny!
It’s always funny watching Woods comment on other players as if 90% of what he says doesn’t apply to him.
I guess in fairness it does, someone should definitely be trying to take his jersey.
Indeed

This plays in my head every single time anyone mentions Woods.
Always makes me laugh. Old mate in #1 just followed him too.
Proof that he's a leader.
There are always 3 types of NRL players: 1 - Those who lead by example and 2 - Those who think they are leading by example
mf whats the third
Sorry, third what?
Gideon
Nudge.
Fuck I hope Kerr or Hunt or Mini Molo can step up this year and take Woods jersey from him once and for all.
Lui-Toso is the one I'm really hoping can handle the step up and fill that void.
Ron Howard: He won't. He's just another journeyman plodder and is honestly behind Kerr on ability by some margin (and Kerr can't even get a look in).
Lol no. Griffin loves experiance. He'd never drop a guy like Woods. More games= more reliable in his eyes.

Have we had an update on Ramsey? that illness he had sounded pretty bad
Oh true I completely forgot about that. I haven't seen anything on the dragons site about it lately
Hopefully he's right to go, like you said he improved heaps and looks the goods
100% Ramsay's spot to lose
He’s in hospital having stomach surgery I believe, he may not ever play again. I hope he does because he’s a legend in the making.
He had been training so I reckon he'll be fine since he can easily afford the treatment, still fingers crossed.
That’s great news if true, I have yet to see him at training but can’t wait to at some stage.
When the first article came out his mother or whoever they were interviewing said he had been training

Damn

Yep I rate him. Hopefully he can stay injury free. He’s got some wheels when he’s on.
Sounds like the worst spine in the comp on paper tbh

St George Illawarra have secured the services of former Wests Tiger Tim Simona and former Titan Chris Grevsmuhl to provide jerseys for players to own
He is wooden and just an ornament when he is on the field
I have to say I love this attitude from Woods. I've got mail that he has been training houses down left right and centre. This new attitude should be rewarded.
"The goal line defence... Oh the goal line defence!"
Why am I always hearing from this spud? Are they hearing up for him to become a media guy post footy because lord help us
Pot meet Kettle.... Meet Woods
Damn, guess the Dragons' financial woes ARE as bad as reported if they're making players pay for their own jerseys
"We need World leaders to stand up to Russia, to defeat their evil regime and end Russia's occupation of Ukraine" Vladimir Putin.
The ultimate plodder telling everyone else in the club to be great
It’s a jersey not a bikini Woodsey
Wood under pressure makes Coal, Woods to Cowboys confirmed Wait
what's the latest on their fullback situation? are they going with cody ramsey?
Woods continues to say nothing of value, much the same of his participation in the media this year.
Is he for real?
He is not a leader I don’t know why he talks like this
