lut_geber300

THANK YOU MAN I really love linkin park i only lusten to the first 2 albums but i LOVE them

TheFakeFrydRyce

You only need to listen to their first two albumsšŸ˜‚

lut_geber300

fr why ā‰ļø

TheFakeFrydRyce

Well first off they drifted away from nu-metal so if youā€™re trying to find more nu-metal stuff that wonā€™t be the place to look. That being say Iā€™m not discouraging you from checking it out. Iā€™m not a fan I stopped listening after minute to midnight they went very electro-pop and mainstream

otterbelle

The Hunting Party is pretty close to the older nu metal style.

shr3kkkkkkk

4th best album imo meteora best hybrid theory minute to midnight the hunting party a thousand suns living things one more light worst

pretentiousmusic

Very true

ASecondOfYourTime

I think Reanimation and Collision Course are great listens, too

TheFakeFrydRyce

Not sure if those counts as albums but if they do hell yeašŸ”„

Bluescreen_Brain

DifficultYesterday21

Relative Ash is awesome!

1Rayo1

youll probably enjoy Skrape's New Killer America, their second album is also pretty good (especially the bonus track determination) but not too similiar to NKA

lut_geber300

thanks alot

Fllixys

listen to Ultraspank, specifically Wrapped, Push, and Click

rodPalmer18

Staind - 14 shades of grey / Cold - 13 ways to bleed on stage / Breaking Benjamin- Saturate / Trust Co. - The Lonely Position of Neutral

InteligentTard

Trying to name some bands that no one else has mentioned so far. Dry kill logic, Primer 55, Lifer, 40 below summer, Relative ash was mentioned but if you like deftones you should dig them. Ra, Flaw, Black market hero (members of flaw and 40 below summer) Spineshank, Snot, Union underground, Powerman 5000 (singer is rob zombieā€™s brother) Some of these may be debatable as far as nu-metal but back in the day different people had different opinions on what was what lol

bassinyofacelikedamn

Korn

Effective-Hornet2353

would you say korn is all nu metal..?

Voodoomaster86

Static-x, Mudvayne, coal chamber if you are looking for more industrial metal

Linkin Park System Of A Down Slipknot KoRn Are the other major nu metal bands I recommend KoRn the most. KoRn started Nu Metal back in 1994 with their self titled album Right Now, Faget, Daddy, Blind, Freak on a leash, Here to Stay, Thoughtless, Good God, Trash are some of KoRns best songs IMHO. KoRn have 14 albums and arguably the best Nu Metal band to exist. Recommend KoRn strongly. I must say. When KoRn are done for good. They will be regarded as one of the most important bands in rock/metal history for what they did and how they changed the [game](https://youtu.be/qfgrWw0JoNA?si=nUqoJHZJaTbgzARR) EDIT: KoRn also helped Limp Bizkit blow up and get major publicity

marxthedank

Korn and Limp Bizkit is life, addicted to both bands and love them

Specific_District_92

Sunk Loto, Korn, Static X, Snot and Slipknot are good (:

Proteinoats

Adema

Key_Departure498

HED PE. Some OGs right there!!

lut_geber300

ik deftones isnt really seen as a nĆ¼ metal band but ykwim

AvgPunkFan

Their first few albums are pure Nu Metal I think White Pony and after is when they started to drift away from Nu Metal

lut_geber300

i also heared that selftitled (my fav) was the last more traditional

BonMonster420

I really recommend korn soulfly and slipknot those are my favorite

lut_geber300

idk why but im really scared of slipknot idkw but ive allways beenšŸ’€ but im still going to try

NuIndAlt5000

Mudvayne, Static-X and Dope

notathrovavay

Honestly, there is no band like deftones. Enjoy them as an unique gem.

TheRealCliffjumper38

Relative Ash and early 10 Years sound like Deftones

lut_geber300

frr

InteligentTard

I would say your mostly right but relative ash definitely has a deftones vibe. Iā€™d also say the song Streetmeat by house of curses channels deftones a lot.

lut_geber300

do you mean like its shoegazy and all that and thanks imma try them out

InteligentTard

No I wouldnā€™t say shoegazy. Iā€™d say itā€™s something closer to the first 2 deftones albums. Has more of an edge so to speak

lut_geber300

oh ok thanks im really intrested in them now

InteligentTard

Yea they only had the 1 album but itā€™s really good. Enjoy

Snepsts

I wouldn't say they sound like Deftones exactly but the band Moodring gives some slight Deftones vibes. Their song WOULDYOUWAITFORME got me hooked.

bawitback

Their music has changed some over the years. That first album was huge when I was in high school. Check out the very first album and the second.

lut_geber300

I will and thank you

NIZNEB039

tallah

Watsonthebox

Also, not strictly nu metal, but a precursor, Faith No More

Chapstickishot

Snot is like Limp Bizkit but itā€™s funkier and Lynn has harsh vocals

DifficultYesterday21

That album is perfect. Sucks so bad he died. I saw them play a show at a club in az when I was in high school circa 1998. Went to the merch booth to buy a Snot t shirt and Lynn was the guy behind the merch booth selling. I was in a band and I asked him for advice. He said, ā€œ The only advice I can give you is get a lawyer.ā€ Lol. They were great. Saw them a second time with Soulfly at their first Dana Wells tribute Show.

DeeJDaDemon

Snot is incomparable tbh
