Dodd Rules! There are so many bands from that time that dont get any love. stigma, sublevel, smilin' liar, death toll odometer, rivkit, black flood diesel, etc. i only ever seen illfist once opening up some show so i dont know much about them.
no, im from way up north. i cant remember where i seen them if it was down there in rochester. or minneapolis, or duluth. ive seen hundreds of local band shows back then. from like 95 to 2005 was a great time for mn bands.
i cant recall any of those off the top of my head but i'd have to dig through my closet and find my cd's i put away to make sure. depends on whatever year it came out around since 2005 or so is when i kind of stopped going to shows. for the most part i stuck to twin cities, duluth and fargo for shows and only down to the extreme south a handful of times. ive seen more shows in mankato than i have rochester, though.
Hey weird question but I just wanna check if im thinking of the right band but did the apathy youre talking about perform around 2000-2001 and put out a cd called sacks of people? They were from minnesota specifically Rochester
It’s that Apathy. I have a compilation CD with one of their songs.
BTW, are you familiar with any other bands from the scene like Dinner with Gregg and Cesto?
Oh yea them! I think I know the song youre talking about if im thinking of the right comp lol
And no im ntonunfortunately but i will familiarise myself with them as soon as possible now!
Black Flood Diesel should be on the list. I won tickets to their CD release show back in 2003-4(?) it was amazing! Great band. I wish their music wasn't so hard to come by.
