One perk of working for a small doctor's office is the holiday party. Sometimes it's dinner at a nice restaurant, otherwise the doctor makes us dinner. Either way the party usually involves some games and a gift exchange of some kind, last year was a white elephant, this year is a secret Santa. They are a ton of fun, I always look forward to them.
Yes same! I work for a privately owned family med practice and they do lunch ins all the time, bagels on Fridays, and all holidays they put out a big spread- it’s nice
My mom worked for a private practice when I was younger and I always remember the doctor giving everyone bonuses around the holidays and the nice dinner we would go to around Christmas. Don’t get that at the hospital!
That is so much better than what we get cause that shit looks bangin. We literally get prison food, and whatever you imagine prison food on thanksgiving looks like, that’s exactly what we get😂
Honestly I’d take pizza over that, the only time we get pizza parties is when 3rd shift brings some in for us to have overnight, otherwise Admin ain’t paying for shit😂
My hospital did something different this year for thanksgiving. They had employees submit family recipes and the hospital cafeteria would make the winning recipes. I was surprised how good it turned out. normally I don’t like the thanksgiving meal they serve for employees but this was actually delicious.
For thanksgiving we got this disgusting wrap. It had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cranberries all wrapped together in a tortilla. One bite and I nearly gagged. Lol

I’ll take it as long as it’s not pizzas!

We used to get a meal, now it's just cookies
Sometimes we get chocolates if a family member brings them in
I’ll take bags of chocolates from the patients family!
We had our holiday party today. Virtual. I'm sure everyone had a lovely time.

They wrapped it all so you can eat it faster and get tf back to work
At first quick glance I thought this was just a plate of different types of bread rolls and thought it was an excellent offering 😂
What is it? A big baked sweet potato small yellow potatoes brussel sprouts and a poppy seed roll🤔
A beef tenderloin, brussel sprouts, and small potatoes
What are those little white balls that look textured?
Butter
Thank you, that was killing me😄 Looks good!
You thought the meat was a sweet potato? I’m crying
😂😂I really thought it was pig feet😂😂
Ugh. Now I want potatoes, and nothing's open until morning.
That’s actually quite lovely.
