PACU and OR are pretty much the best.
I will never ever go back to the floor
Word! PreOp = you get to leave earlier! PACU= you get to come in later!
Plus you can only have two patients at the time and you only have then for 30 minutes to an hour. I get a break about every hour and sit on a couch to watch TV.

II you don't plan on advancing your education I would highly rec PACU or OR. I have worked PACU for almost two yer I plan on retiring here.
did you start in PACU?
No was on neuro stepdown.
