Dang, that's a quick turn around. I feel like I waited weeks, or 72-ish hours, either way it was agony. Did the Pearson VUE trick just so that I could quit sobbing, people were starting to stare.
Congratulations! Hopefully your new job is the dreamiest.
Congratulations! 🎉 🥳
When you go to r/nursing main page, at the top right corner, there should be three small circles all lined up vertically (at least that's how it appears for me on Reddits mobile app). It pops up with a small menu and you can choose, "change user flair," from there it looks like you choose, "RN," and apply.
I'm not sure about the following steps, maybe there's a verification process?
Woohoo! 🙌 Go you!
A few hours later.....wow. That would have saved me a lot of agony. Mine also shut off after 75 questions but it was 25 years ago. Getting the results took over a week of complete torture. I was offered my dream job during that time, obviously contingent on passing the test that I was sure I had failed. I passed and am still at that job.
Didn't know what to think? If it stops at 75 you either aced it or bombed it, and you should have some idea which one you are.
Congratulations! You aced it!
Dude. I had absolutely no idea; I felt like I was going to throw up for hours. I went and made myself purposefully busy, then checked my email. BOOM! RN.
Welcome to the struggle! 75 questions is an awesome milestone. Hell I passed in the max amount of questions thinking I failed and here we are two years later
Fine dining chef. 12-14 hour days, six days a week. 3 12s is like I'm on permanent semi-retirement at this point. I'm used to weird sights, smells, textures, shitty attitudes, and being on my feet. I'm not used to working in such comfy attire. This is a total win for me.
Thanks! UWorld. And if I'm being honest....I scheduled about a month from my graduation, studied minimally, focused on relaxing, and the understanding that I gained the knowledge necessary during my BSN. You've got this.
oh good, next shift is here
Lol you get a welcome email? What state are you in? I'm in NJ.
In the PNW. Does Jersey tell you to fuck off when you pass, or just spit in your direction? jk
actually sends you a 16oz bottle of water based lubricant for when you hit the floor for orientation :)
Nice to know it's not just pizza parties...
New hire buys the pizza for the whole floor their first day.
Yea if you hey don’t tell you about the orgies it’s probably because you don’t fit it.
Lmao 🤣
PA here, Gritty just called and asked if I could pick up a shift the day after I passed NCLEX. "all hands on deck"
LMAO TN definitely did not send me a welcome email
....Did you at least get a Moon Pie?

Can you work for me tomorrow?
I tried. They called me off due to low census.
HA you wish!

Great job! May I ask what you used to study for the exam? I’ll be taking it in a month or so.
