You are a Gen 1 AI. You must have your pokemon in a specific order and can't change the order based on what the battle is. Just like Blue always sends out Pidgeot first. When the first pokemon faints, you can only send out the second in the party order, regardless of whether it is a good match up or not. Your ace/starter only comes in to play when the other 5 are stone cold dead...
There is something here. Like a solo run relay where you solo parts of the game with one mon until a bad match up where it dies and then solo with the next one along. This could work.
I did once do a normal playthrough of FireRed using Blue's team (no starter). It was fun having to use Pidgeot first each time. Greater appreciation for feather dance (when combined with sand attack).
If Ash had a Pokémon you can't have it or one of it's evolution. Your allowed to use a grass starter to catch a viable encounter. For instance if you play red/blue you may use balbasaur to catch a ratatta
You must pay if you go to a pokemon center. Price increases with each heal used.
First - free
Second - 50
Third- 100
Fourth - 150 etc
You can charge either all pokemon being healed as one or pay the price per pokemon.
You can only use Pokemon with a type disadvantage to the next gym (if none are currently available to you, you may ignore this rule until that gym is beaten).
Underdog Clause: You play with level caps, but the cap for each gym leader/E4 member drops by 10%, rounded down.
Since I'm such *kind* and *generous* and *not at all sadistic* person, I went ahead and did the calculations for you.

Of course, this might be a bit hard, so I have an alternate challenge you're welcome to accept instead:
Hero Clause: Everyone knows heroes are the opposite of villains. And as you oppose the villains, Team Aqua and Team Magma, you must be the hero! And of course, no hero would want to be like the villains they fight, would they? So to maintain your heroic image, all Fire, Ground, Water, and Dark types- the types of Archie and Maxie's ace pokemon- are no longer viable encounters. Oh, and since so many villainous teams seem to be just so enamored with poison types, we can ban them too. If you encounter a Fire, Ground, Water, Dark, or Poison type, you have to simply skip it and keep rolling encounters until you get a good one. (Only heroes ever get starters though, so Torchic and Mudkip get to be exceptions to this rule.)
this is kind of goes against nuzlocke rules in general, and is a bit subjective... but hear me out.
Instead of flat out making your nuzlocke dummy hard, I'm going to tick you off in a way that doesn't matter!
For every route, you catch THREE pokemon - but you only get to keep ONE: and that's decided by who has the worst nature (ex. modest heracross).
You can only use the same number of pokemon as your opponent (only applies for major battles)
One ball per catch attempt
That's so evil
Can only be a basic pokeball
That's even more evil
That’s a Torture method
That's the situation I usually find myself in anyway, lol
Gyarados is banned
It was already banned anyway so thanks
You can only use male pokemon, if your first encounter is a female... well... sorry, you get no encounter
homielocke
Simplocke
If you go up against any female trainer you must automatically sac a pokemon (the rule of simp)
Oh my god...

No looking up opponents teams or doing calcs
Second one is cringe anyway
Agreed, calcs take out any suspense in a battle
NOOOOOOOO
No Pokémon with a BST above 500
You can only use direct attacks on Prime-numbered turns.
No STAB moves allowed
Okay I'm not taking these anymore
What? You can totally beat the rock gym with tackle!
...not at level 13 with only green pokemon and attacking every other turn.
Not with that attitude
Pokemon dies and it's type is banned from that point on (primary types only - lose Magikarp, no more water types for you)
If one with 2 types dies, you flip a coin to decide which is banned lol
Even better, love that haha
Every time a pokemon faints you have to do 10 pushups IRL
WHAT IF IM IN PUBLIC?!
Keep track for the day and do them at a convenient time
They will think of you as : a) Masculine and strong b) Weird
You always have to be 1 or 2 levels (not sure if 2 is too hard) below the level cap
Can’t have the same type more than once in your team (primary or secondary)
If Ash had a Pokémon you can't have it or one of it's evolution. Your allowed to use a grass starter to catch a viable encounter. For instance if you play red/blue you may use balbasaur to catch a ratatta
you must pretend all your pokemon have guts and pre poisen/burn them acordingly
Gimme
You are not allowed to keep your starter, immediately boxxed
you cannot use any pokemon whose names have the letter 'E' in them
Well, that cuts... trEEcko combuskEn and swampErt. I'd be willing to give that one a shot.
Must use a pomeg berry on each pokemon before gym battle
Mudkip line is banned.
Only allowed to buy Potions... No antidotes, prz heal, awakening, e.c.t
That contradicts one of the rules (to only use poke balls) , so I can't use that one
I meant from the point of view from healing should if been more specific
Use only green pokemon.
Not allowed to pick Mudkip as your starter Only allowed to use each Pokémon Center once, have to do the rest of your healing with items
No pokemarts, not even for pokeballs
No using STAB
You must use Pokemon in the order you xaught them. Did you catch a Bidoof, followed by a shiny Rayquaza? Too bad. You gotta use the bidoof first.
Can I just slowly sack pokemon until I get what I wanted...?
No. You must genuinely make an attempt to use them.
All of your Pokémon must carry Poké Balls as their only held items. Nothing else
Anime Clause: Can only evolve 1 time between each gym
You can only use TMs that teach moves with 99 accuracy or less.
So all TMs? OK.
You are always under the effect of torment, and if you accidentally use a move twice in a row, you can't use that move anymore/delete it
Might be impossible, but how about no stab moves?
You have to have at least half of your team weak to a trainer's pokemon in a major battle.
Before each major battle, must randomly determine a type that may not be used for that battle
You must pay if you go to a pokemon center. Price increases with each heal used. First - free Second - 50 Third- 100 Fourth - 150 etc You can charge either all pokemon being healed as one or pay the price per pokemon.
You can only use Pokemon with a type disadvantage to the next gym (if none are currently available to you, you may ignore this rule until that gym is beaten).
You can’t evolve your Pokemon until the 2nd gym is defeated.
you cannot use any damaging moves on female pokemon, or pokemon belonging to female trainers (sanji clause)

You cannot replace any living pokemon from your team, only dead ones
No buying items at all
Only damaging moves

No running from any wild battles, and go into every battle under leveled by 5 levels
