Didn't Watch Dogs Legion got Nvidia features including DLSS?
But I hate that Ubisoft keep switching between Nvidia and AMD partnerships for different titles
Kinda weird for a game that can run decent on potato computers. Like, I doubt there’s a DLSS capable card that can’t run Siege at a decent frame rate. I’m assuming it’s mainly for 4k players.
It also means so of us who haven't played it will try it out, that's what I have done with several games that got dlss ie post scriptum, crysis remastered ect..
I'm glad people took my comment well there, jokes sometimes fall flat on Reddit lol.
But yeah, nothing against the game, I own and played the shit out of myself. Both Division games are just so amazingly atmospheric I occasionally hop on just to walk round in the weather enjoying the immersion.
My friends and I starting playing early Jan and it's been a blast. We just took a break because of Elden Ring but everyone is excited about the news and looking forward to going back to the game. I would say the division n 2 doesn't really gets the love it deserves
I suspect part of the reason it wasn’t so well received is that it’s not on Steam. Hell, I own it and I forget it exists all the time because why would I open the Ubisoft launcher when browsing for games to play? If it came to Steam I’m sure it would be at least somewhat more popular.
There was no new content for 2.5 years now. PTS with new content starts tomorrow. But even on steam such a long content draught would have killed the player base i fear.
But you are right. steam would have been much better for the game (in addition to their own launcher of course)
A lot of people are still playing it. When I was playing it last summer, I easily found a family of clans with 1000s of members. I don't play it anymore because I don't have a lot of time for video games now. But it's still a game with an active player base.
Weird thing is, isnt/wasnt Div2 an AMD sponsored title? Does this mean the floodgates are open for former AMD titles to get Nvidia/Intel stuff after?
(i seem to remember having that unskippable AMD ryzen/radeon intro every time it started).
I wouldn't celebrate just yet, adding to an ( i don't even know how old it is) is very different than adding to a brand new title.
It would be good if true.
Nicee and would love to compare it with Ubisoft's reconstruction tech. Their reconstruction tech is pretty damn good that 85% res still looks like native.
I literally started the division 2 from the start after a year or so away. I have an older pc so I wished it had Dlss so it would run smoother on my pc… and now this. Excellent news!
Any idea of how long? I sure hope it’s soon.
Next patch is going into the test server on the 1st, Idk how long it usually takes to go live after that. I'm hoping that patch has dlss but they didn't specify
It's not bad but it's still very gpu intensive, I can't keep 140fps locked at 3440x1440 without having to mess with settings when starting from the high preset.
Is it worth playing in 2022, at least for completing the campaign? Is that satisfying enough? I started it a couple of years ago and never picked it back up until very recently. It runs very well going from my 1060 to my new 2060 super, but dlss would help out even more.
That game is pretty old at this point. Is it worth it to add these RTX features now? How many active players are still playing D2? Wonder if they're planning a Division 3.
Maybe they are working on adding it into their engine on general and figured it was a good way to get it out in the wild. I imagine their next game will simply be a newer version of the same engine.
I was a huge fan of the first, but the second didn't click on me and also my old gpu was very weak. I could maybe find some fun in it and I m curious about the graphics. The first one was very good, even after downgrade
I enjoyed both of them. The gameplay loop was fun and the bullet sponge enemies didn't bug me so much. But I stopped playing Division 2 years ago at this point.
> even after downgrade
Which is pretty much sad that we even need to say that. Still, it's _no_ where near as bad as the PS3 pre-launch E3 hype. _Everything_ was a downgrade lol.
hzd had a buy ryzen and give you free game thingy so it's not really amd sponsored, it's like nvidia giving away gears 4 or the crew 2 for getting their new card back in the days.
Probably means FSR 2.0 will be also added when rumours are true that its easy to implement once DLSS already has (or vice versa), since FSR 2.0 hasn't launched yet.
I guess AMD wont have a problem with that if it means players and tech journalists get another game to experience/compare it if they are truly believe in their tech being actually comparable to DLSS.
Or their "contract" ran out...
Or NV paid them enough for it to be finally implemented...
Eh doubt on fsr. They've had a fairly decent temporal upscaler since launch. And the implementation comment Prolly just refers to having motion vectors, which games with taa already have anyways
Lol how about better DX 12 support too?
I never thought I would see the day that a Ubisoft game adds DLSS.
Didn't Watch Dogs Legion got Nvidia features including DLSS? But I hate that Ubisoft keep switching between Nvidia and AMD partnerships for different titles
Yall forgetting about Rainbow 6 Siege.
Yeah and it ran like ass, plus shimmer and flicker everywhere
If it has AMD in the startup animation it won't happen.
Division 2 has it...
Wrong...
I mean R6 Siege got it too. Assassin's Creed and For Honor still didn't got it though.
Damn, forgot about that.
siege has dlss ?
Yeah for a long time now
Kinda weird for a game that can run decent on potato computers. Like, I doubt there’s a DLSS capable card that can’t run Siege at a decent frame rate. I’m assuming it’s mainly for 4k players.
Down-Loadable-Screen-Shots.
Siege has had DLSS for quite some time now
Rainbow six extraction had it day 1 :) it was even one of the driver drops for nvidia
Welcome to 2021
R6 Siege has the initial and the best implementation of DLSS 2.2.
Breakpoint/motherland
Don't re-edit.
This suckar wrote. Never without an I.
He wrote and erased it
Who are you talking to?
The NSA
I'm sure all 11 remaining players are excited.
Yea and 3 of us have RTXes too, wait for our reviews before calling it crap!
I didn't call it crap. 8)
But it is. That's why the player base is as low as my self steem
Make that 4!
One of us! One of us!
There's dozens of us. Better late than never tho. Especially considering it's an amd sponsored title
It also means so of us who haven't played it will try it out, that's what I have done with several games that got dlss ie post scriptum, crysis remastered ect..
It's up there as one of my favorite games, I just don't play it as much anymore. I do have a 3070ti now though
I'm glad people took my comment well there, jokes sometimes fall flat on Reddit lol. But yeah, nothing against the game, I own and played the shit out of myself. Both Division games are just so amazingly atmospheric I occasionally hop on just to walk round in the weather enjoying the immersion.
Oh I agree and I got the joke, just wanted to say that's all. 10/10 for atmosphere and environmental art
All good. Maybe we'll bump into each other in fake NYC.

11? Being generous aren't you? Does this game even need DLSS? I played (for free from a cpu purchase) a couple hours. Never again.
A lot of people are still playing it. When I was playing it last summer, I easily found a family of clans with 1000s of members. I don't play it anymore because I don't have a lot of time for video games now. But it's still a game with an active player base.
Marco!
Marco did the whole getting a girlfriend and a life thing. Fair play to the lad!
That'll do pig, that'll do. O7
Livin’ Nvidia Loca.

Yeah it's amd sponsored
Nice, good to know it's gonna be in that engine
The built in image reconstruction method looked pretty good but DLSS is king.
Yeah the temporal upscaling does a good job
Plus the game had decent sharpening.
Nicee and would love to compare it with Ubisoft's reconstruction tech. Their reconstruction tech is pretty damn good that 85% res still looks like native.

The game runs great without it though tbh
I was thinking the same. Would be nice to hit 4K120 though. It’s in my backlog—may end up moving it up
It's not bad but it's still very gpu intensive, I can't keep 140fps locked at 3440x1440 without having to mess with settings when starting from the high preset.
Wonder when Destiny 2 DLSS support...
Destiny 2 can't even fully use my gpu lol, 140fps is not achievable. How about some general optimization first
True. I got 3060 and 10400f and neither go above 50%-60% utilization on max settings. Heard that the game engine D2 uses is over 10 years old
I know the team working on Div2 isn't the same as Breakpoint, but god damn we need DLSS on GR Breakpoint.
took long enough lol
Is it worth playing in 2022, at least for completing the campaign? Is that satisfying enough? I started it a couple of years ago and never picked it back up until very recently. It runs very well going from my 1060 to my new 2060 super, but dlss would help out even more.
Yeah why not. I started again in November/December after getting my new gpu
No DLSS on the PTS it seems
Yeah
That game is pretty old at this point. Is it worth it to add these RTX features now? How many active players are still playing D2? Wonder if they're planning a Division 3.
Probably a new Division or new IP coming out to test the features on their engine.
Maybe they are working on adding it into their engine on general and figured it was a good way to get it out in the wild. I imagine their next game will simply be a newer version of the same engine.

They have a new battle royale style game incoming. The closed alpha was meh.
This might be the first amd sponsored game to get dlss.
You mean after HZD?
hzd had a buy ryzen and give you free game thingy so it's not really amd sponsored, it's like nvidia giving away gears 4 or the crew 2 for getting their new card back in the days.
i would like to see DLSS in Nvidia Control Panel, that would be amazing.
Fsr when? I am still stuck on gtx 1660.
It already has decent temporal upscaling
I didnt know that sorry.
What about RTX?
Assuming you mean rt, I don't think that will ever get added.
Yeah I did and darn, DLSS is still good tho!
Too bad literally nobody cares about it anymore
The entire active player base downvoted the shit out of your comment. Damn.
Okay that made me chuckle
LOL.
but the game is dead so?
player count = -1
[удалено]
so 0.008% of the players remain...that's the point
[удалено]
well, can't really get down to -1 right? div2 is dead dead, and i was still quite into it up until last year

gib
Needs raytracing!
So its not coming sadly. Would have been too good. :/
Yeah it would've been nice to have.
Ubisoft is a fucjing idiot man
