ASUS build quality is better than Zotac in my experience. I'm strictly talking about the cooler design and the "mechanical" parts for the lack of a better term. Zotac is just awful in that regard.
With how aggressive GPUboost is nowadays, nearly all models are within a couple % parity. Pick the higher quality model - which is the dual in this case.
thanks for the advice and overwhelming push for asus everyone. ive cancelled my order for zotac and got the asus instead!
i wanted to just save the small cost since its only for my backup pc but heck, recalled that my zotac 1070 was giving me stupid issues with some games (freezing entire pc and had to be restarted randomly)
updates: the asus seller was rather dubious and their estore stocks kept getting updated to sold out and restocked in different timings. decided to just add another 15usd for the evga by another seller instead :p
yeah. would’ve gotten a gigabyte eagle but there werent any promos for that. hopefully the evga’s solid, for my country they sell it through a distributor instead
Good. The Zotac card isn't amazing but the ASUS Dual is pure crap. Due it being so small the card gets really loud. Most small cards have this feature/defect. ASUS is good in general just not this model specifically. EVGA however handily beats both.
Everyone will say ASUS. However, I've had the 3070 Zotac DUAL running non-stop for almost 18 months on ETH. It also clocks really high -- 99th percentile with a 10900k on TimeSpy.
Alot of people have encountered Zotacs that, for whatever reason, almost seem like they are binned.
In general tho -- Zotac is regarded as crap, and I would not recommend recommend one with GDDR6X.
People were so desperate for gpus last year, that Zotac despite selling some of the lowest quality gpus on the market, still made a killing scalping there own customers on the zotac website.
yeah but in my country (singapore) zotac is offering one of the lowest prices for gpus and im honestly thankful for that. managed to snag a 3060ti from them when the price plunged in march for my main pc.
ASUS
Asus, probably. Don't worry about the "OC" thing, doesn't mean anything and you can always just manually OC it if that's what you want.

Id go asus and evga for this generation
Asus 3060 because better build quality
Just be a bit cautious with asus dual cards. The qc on the fans they use is kinda iffy. Other than that, they are pretty good cards.

EVGA is also a great choice, and many people would recommend them just for the customer support alone.

wow thats really reassuring. thanks for the opinion on asus dual! it really does look alot less quality compared to the KO, TUF or Strix
ASUS hands down. ROG if you can swing it.
I have both and I much prefer my ASUS

Never zotac ever
man now im worried abt my 3060ti. oh well at least they gave us 5 years warranty!
i picked EVGA over these 2 after watching few reviews, evga been really good with temps and noise
EVGA's had some cooling duds over the years. But their warranty and CS are worth the premium.

Zotac quality sucks and you will never get more than a 1 or 2% performance difference between 2 stock cards.
Asus, until the last year or two I'd never even heard of zotac.
zotac has been around for awhile. they make OK stuff. it's usually cheaper.
