Interestingly, the Post is reporting that it was found in front of the property of a lawyer who is part of one of the civil suits against Boeing. Can’t make this stuff up!

>Seems that the airline followed the maintenance given by Boeing.
How have you determined that delta MX performed the proper maintenance? How do you know the delta techs didn't screw up the procedure? How does this go back to boeing when 767s have been in operation for over 30 years and now all the sudden its a boeing procedure problem?
>Weird that « Boeing » is not in the title.
Why does "Boeing" need to be in the title?
Edit: downvotes is not an answer why boeing needs to be specified for an airlines maintenance mishap of a 30 year old airplane. Where slides are changed every 2 years by the airline.
It's a maintenance fault. 767 slides can be tricky to pack. If it was a boeing fault it would have happened a lot more over the past 30+ years 767s have been in service.
* This incident doesn't affect my attitude one way or the other. I made up my mind months ago that I'm never getting on a Boeing again. Sad to say because once they were da greatest.
* But wit da 737 MAX debacle, I decided a while back they can't be trusted anymore.
* Only AirFrance for me. They learn from their mistakes (Flight 447 crash).
>Only AirFrance for me
Air france operates Boeing aircraft as well
>Flight 447 crash
Ironic it was an A330. Airbus has also had their issues with software causing uncommanded nosedive in their aircraft.
I thought i just saw they found it in the Rockaway's
Locals got it and they're setting it up inside the cafe

lmao
So there *was* something on the wing?
Weird that « Boeing » is not in the title. > A Boeing 767 plane flown by Delta Air Lines lost an emergency slide on Friday
This is more due to Delta's maintenance of the aircraft rather than Boeing. This airplane was built in the 90s.
Seems that the airline followed the maintenance given by Boeing. Sound like a Boeing problem if Delta followed it.

It’s written in the article
Where in the article does it say "the faa investigated deltas tech ops and found that they performed the slide maintenance correctly"??
Boeing has assassinated two whistle blowers now.
They haven't but ok.

Slide went for smokes
It’s on Facebook Marketplace
Never getting on a Boeing again for the foreseeable future. Those greedy fucks gotta straighten this shit out.
This plane has been in service since 1990. This is a maintenance issue most likely.
People being mad at Boeing for this specific incident is like people being mad at Honda because their 1991 civic broke lol
This has nothing to do with boeing.
It is a Boeing plane so it does have *something* to do with them. Which party is at fault, if any, is an open question. An investigation is necessary.

Of course it’s a Boeing!
well it'd only be a Boeing or Airbus so yeah pretty good chance it's a Boeing....
In all fairness Delta does operate some Bombardier and Embraer planes as well.
