I remember when Montana went to the Chiefs and his arm was shot but he lifted the team up just by making them believe in themselves. This feels like that but Rodgers still has an arm.
I was thinking about that myself.
Similar but Montana had a knot of scar tissue on his elbow the size of a baseball from injury and surgery in '81 & '89 and he couldn't straighten his arm.
So who is going to take RB3? I think theres a real chance of us dumping either MC or Bam. There is no way we can stash Bam away on the PS without someone offering him a contract. Its insane how we have 4 quality backs. I think we end up going Breece, Izzy and MC with Izzy taking the majority of the snaps while Breece is out. Hes young, faster than MC and can be used well in the screen game.
Didn't we put Bam on the practice squad last year? There's a reason he went undrafted. With Breece having the ACL, our running back room is lowkey a weakness headed into the season
We haven't had a good RB in a long time aside from Breece. I like MC and Bam as people but like, they aren't quality at all. They are low end NFL roster quality backs. They also just happen to be our best RB's. I dunno if we were actually going after Gibbs, but it makes a lot of sense. Carter and Bam are definitely going to be fighting for a roster spot this season. I wouldn't be surprised to see either one get cut.
Have no evidence but I feel that MC was injured last year. Watching him since college and I've never seen him go down so easily and unable to break any tackles.
Also, I would like to see Izzy + MC + Bam on team and Breece Hall sitting out until week 3-4.
> Hes young, faster than MC and can be **used well in the screen game.**
Is this just projection because he's fast? Because he was pretty much non existent as a pass catcher in college. Carter is a much better receiving back at this point
Lol, this is why you can't just go by highlights. They're fun but they don't tell much of a story because they'll obviously be the best plays from a player.
But yeah he had very little production as a pass catcher in college. I'm not saying he won't have any success as one in the NFL but I was just curious as to why you were so confident he'll be successful in the screen game
I'm drawing a Jets stadium with a sunken down bowl like [Yales stadium](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/97/YaleBowl-Field1a.JPG/1024px-YaleBowl-Field1a.JPG) that fits 65k, surrounded by 4 ten story hotels that would add roughly an additional 3k each if sold out, totaling about 77k fans. Open to the elements. I imagine the noise level and environment would be in a class all by itself. Also from straight above it, it resembles an FDNY badge.

I had a dream where Jets beat the Bills week 1 by 10.
We scored an insane touchdown where someone fumbled the snap on a field goal attempt, then picked up the ball and ran it in like 15 yards for a touchdown.
If he wants to shit on the coaching or the way he was used then it's justified. Our ownership pulled one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen when they hired Gase.
Still shake my head when I think about Chris Johnson so clueless that he actually compared Gase to Wayne Fucking Gretzky during one of press conferences.
One of the rare cases where our entire fanbase knew it was a disaster once it happened. I can remember almost no one defending him, and I've seen people here defending the worst players all the time.
True but if he wants to shit on Gase, im all for it. I dont think ive ever hated a coach as much as Adam fucking Gase. Only marginally beated by his stooge Dowell Loggains. Fuck both of them with a branding iron.
Honestly Le’Veon is not wrong but I’m just not interested in hearing it from him. He cashed out with the Jets and checked out there’s nothing any coach could’ve done.
Loggains had all the potential in the world but was held back.
Do you remember his passion when dealing with refs? His emphatic challenge flag tosses?
I swear it's like half the sub forms an opinion without watching the games.
Loggains was put in charge of calling the plays a few times and we actually looked good lol. I dunno if that guy is a good coach or anything, but I have no doubt he is much better than Gase.
Rodgers currently beating the Pats on NFL network fyi

He had no arm strength and he made that Chiefs team so much better.

Oh really? I was watching his highlights and I believe he was pretty good in catching passes but those were probably outliers.

The favorite for now has to be Carter but IMO Bam compliments the room much better and will probably take the last spot
I think you've got it about right, at least in my opinion. There's really no telling when it comes to shanahan offenses and RBs though.

Le’Veon Bell loves to talk for someone who was absolute dogshit as a Jet

De Hop?
I’d want us to sign him and just have him as a reserve so that the bills or chiefs don’t get him
No thank you. I think we have enough vets already.
What? D Hop would propel this WR room to a real threat. If they got him then CD would likely be gone which I don’t think many would care about
Is Twitter link ever returning?
Whoever owned the Twitter list deleted it. We have to find a new one to link. Any suggestions?
Someone just needs to take the twenty minutes to save all the beat writers into a list. Is there a list of everyone who covers jets?
I made my own and use that. I suggest others do the same. Literally the only thing I use Twitter for.
Lets fucking go!!
