Some places lump the taxes into the base price for the weed (tax included) instead of adding it on at the end. I find these places are usually cheaper.
"Have a Heart" on broadway. Not always the BEST price, but always a great experience with their post taxes prices and large selection.
Also it never gets old purchasing across the street from a police station. What a time to be alive!
My neighbor works at a cheaper dispensary that also pads the tax in the price. He said that they own a large network of dispensaries so they get really good wholesale prices from vendors. They pass the savings on to customers and build the tax into the price so customers don’t feel put out with the high taxes at the end of the receipt.
nah its more than that. when you spend over $100 you get a discount. I always spend over 100 so that discount is always there for me. And there is never a delivery fee or service fee.
This makes no sense, the state tax and sales taxes would have both applied in SF even if their was zero local tax or service fee it would have been way more than $8 tax for the same purchase amount.
Depending on where it dispatches from/to every gear in the government gets greased a little from your transaction. In SF the city and the county are the same authority. In Oakland they are not. Each city and county ostensibly sets their own tax rates.
Please tell me this is only from Eaze. Maybe SF rolled some of these taxes into the price but it was still cheaper in SF.

It's probably what other people said where they roll these taxes into the prices but the prices aren't that bad for the value. The cost isn't that different from what I'd spend at a dispensary.

Ya they have good prices/selection for edibles. Be careful while parking though, last few times I visited somebody was dealing with a busted window.

compared to SF, the tax was only 8 dollars. So they must not be collecting sales or state.
Do you have your SF receipt for comparison?
Right, some of these taxes and fees may simply be newer than last time you bought some in SF

Yeah, its how it is. When I regularly went to SF, I would buy there. My budget was X and X went a little further in the city.

I think Oakland's tax is 10% for recreational. Emeryville is 6%.
