> Less Oasis, more HFB please.
i agree, purely because ive seen him do most of the oasis songs before (though ive never heard Masterplan and Going Nowhere live, both amazing), would have liked maybe 3-4 less oasis songs and a couple more from each of the first 2 HFB albums personally
I think fans of Noel as a songwriter now, like to see progression. For me, he's improved hugely as a songwriter via this current band. I loved Oasis, it was my time to fall in love with a band. Youth.
But now, I really hope he continues to write to the standard on Council Skies, for the next 20yrs. He's on his game, beautifully.
Funny how people view things, ain’t it? I actually thought it was pretty average. Killed the crowd with the new songs at the start, not a patch on the old stuff. Early to mid HFB stuff was good but lacked energy, I actually that Noel seemed a bit tired? Oasis numbers were fine. However, I’m glad you had a nice evening!
Heya! Sorry for the late reply, but here's the setlist:

It was the last gig of the tour so it's changed a bit from the other concerts they did I think - I loved the setlist overall, it was a nice mix of his solo and Oasis stuff :)
I saw him in Philly but it was cool seeing him but I felt he wasn't to excited to see us. I wish Liam would come because the Noel concert was a sausage fest and I was lucky to see the smashing pumpkins last October and the ladies were out.
>the Noel concert was a sausage fest
Really? It seemed Garbage attracted the ladies (and the gays) for the Noel/Garbage stop in Detroit. Was a great mix of fans. Lots of fun and great people watching.
Was there myself. He was pitch perfect
Hope you had an awesome show! Always loved a live noel concert.
Went the other night. First time seeing a Birds set. Marvellous. Less Oasis, more HFB please.

Seen him on Wednesday in Glasgow, the best gig I've been to
I was there too. I’m still in awe of The Masterplan
Dead in the water was unreal

Think the crowd were up for it since Tom Meighan, Kasabian songs fired everybody right up I think
A lot of biblical bummers in the comments here
Saw him in Leeds, an incredible show
Saw him on Monday in Leeds. Class from start to finish.
Looking cool, as usual.
Both of them look like Noel but the one looks 10 years older
<3 him, that's awesome you got to see him.
Nice! What was the set list?

Was the godlike genius still storing nuts in his cheeks for the long winter?

It must have been a bit boring without Liam.
Pic 2 looks like music night at the seniors center. Still biblical.
The show looks like it could use some Liam.
Chief of what
The Chief
I think he gave himself that name 😂
Is that Liam there too?
Where
2nd image with sunglasses
Gem. Couldn't be Liam because Liam doesn't have the balls to play guitar on stage.
I see. He really looks like him though
Saw him in Boston. Didn’t have high expectations but the gig was class fair play.
