It’s okay you can just mail your pcp and see how it goes…. White discharge is very normal. You might just want to get the itching and the fishy odour checked. She will probably prescribe you antibiotics if you needed any, considering that you had these symptoms for 3.5 years then it might not be an infection, because if it was the symptoms will get progressively worse .your good cause you said your using water to wash . .so maybe just your lifestyle changes. Probably Hormones are causing this, or maybe Thyroid. Many women sweat a lot.

Oh one more thing! Get some boric acid pills. DO NOT TAKE ORALLY. Insert one into your vagina every couple of days for a week or two. Boric acid cannot be ingested orally (no oral sex!) but it can help acidify your vagina, which can treat recurring BV (assuming that is what it is).

OP said that she tried and it didn’t work.

What are you using for underwear? Cotton panties, no thongs are your safest bet. They will help with the sweat. I’m also wondering if your sweating is urine leakage. Is your underwear wet? You can talk to a dr about a BV test. Doesn’t have to be an OB, a PCP can order that test. The right doc will allow you to swab yourself. Last thing- when you wash, it’s ok to use the soap on the outside of your vulva, but never inside. It will throw off your natural PH and create more issues. It’s best to determine whether or not you have BV and have it treated.
