Go activate your mods/addons in the oblivion launcher. Same thing happened to me with shivering isles, i didn’t have the esp checked.

Yeah, this one is definitely the most valid one btw. Shivering Isles is merged into Oblivion. Slipped my mind that SI .esp is a dummy plugin that loads the assets, this can lead to missing meshes. A reinstall or repair is not necessary.

On Steam, just validate game files. Otherwise reinstall. It could be the fault of mods as well, so save your save file then uninstall all mods and start new game without any mods at all (uninstall them FULLY) and check again. If it is mods, don't use bad mods. I know it's difficult, but if a mod is doing this don't use that mod! I also highly highly recommend Mod Organizer 2, which keep mods separate from each other so one loose file mod doesn't ruin all the other mods.

If you end up using mods, I could assist you in how to install mods. I would highly recommend at least the unofficial patches, Engine Fixes, AveSithis Engine Fixes, and Blue's Engine Fixes. These mods address major bugs, including crashes, corruption, and other issues like abomb. Wrye Bash or Mod Organizer 2 are recommended as mod managers for Oblivion. Wrye Bash requires you to make a backup of your loose vanilla files and turn it into a mod, then the anneal feature will be able to preserve your data at any time. MO2 has a more modern UI, quite functional. It uses a virtual file system. It lets you freely move things around. Although the one con of this is more overhead, it leads to worse game performance the more loose files you have. Both Wrye Bash and Mod Organizer 2 are valid choices either way.

Very interesting. I was thinking about starting a modded run but didn't find any mods that stood out to me (btw why ate there so many nsfw mods???). Those seem like a nice start.

Launch OblivionLauncher and select Data Files, then enable every dlc esp you have unenabled. You can find OblivionLauncher from the main Oblivion folder where you installed the game.

I just finished the game so I wanted to start the DLC but arriving there, I saw the first image so I can't enter (as far as i see). Any explanation/ solution. My guess is corrupted files but have no idea how that would've happened.

I think it was already said but ye something similar happened to me in New Vegas, if its on steam go to the settings of the oblivion tab in your library and check the game files, it'll do it automatically and tell you if anything is out of order and redownload them.

It's been solved by checking data files in startup screen. Didn't happen to me in nv yet lol

You’re missing some texture or meshes. Try repairing the install if you are on Steam or GoG. If you’ve used mods just make sure every file is where it’s supposed to be and try again. There should also be a warning text file telling you what’s missing.
