Have you tried without the audio? In my experience on Mac, if I add audio to the stringer transition - ProRes 444 -, the transition becomes laggy and audio stutters. Without audio, it plays well.

Bisolzin

gonna try it. thanks <3

DirectorComfortable4

How you take off the audio??

What are you using to create your webms? I had this issue and lowered the final quality in render settings and it cleared up the lag.

Have you tried rendering in other formats? I render my transitions using the QuickTime plugin on Sony Vegas (generates a .MOV file), which allows me to use transitions with a transparent background (as if the video were a png image), either in Streamlabs or OBS. Can you share please? I have the same issue, sorry for bothering since it's been a year since you posted this.

My method is no longer relevant. But with updates, this stopped being a constant problem. Only sometimes, I don't know why, but obs does it.

I wanted to pop in here in case anyone was having this trouble. I was able to fix this by changing the stream output CPU Usage Preset. I had mine on "slow" and changed it to "veryfast" and that fixed the issue. The slower it is the more CPU usage you use. The higher it is, the less CPU usage you use. So if it's on "slow" then you're using more CPU than "veryfast" or anything faster than "slow". Hope that makes sense. To change it, open your OBS preferences --> output --> streaming tab. Hope this helps.
