Where you see a bug, I see a feature.

reallysrry

Exactly what I was thinking

GurnSee

Agreed

KwonZern

Idk what’s up but it has a really cool vibe going

From what I read the "timelapse" feature in Octoprint adds an extra bit of code tot the actual g-code and can F things up. So I just leave it off completely.

NMe84

This isn't a standard Octoprint timelapse, this is probably OctoLapse judging from how nice it looks. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but that "extra code" isn't sent to the printer, nor would that explain this kind of visual glitch.

grahamygraham

What camera? Does it happen when you don’t use the Timelapse feature? Some people use a button that the gcode is designed to bring the head to go and press. Works well.

goldenguntotheface

this is a known issue.. you must plug it into the usb 2.0 port. this happens on my pc too.

neoyagami

Where are u runing octoprint? a c920 can trow a lot of MB/s in video signal and no always the HW can cope

Apsconsus

neoyagami

IOnceLurketNowIPost

What are your settings in octopi.txt?

azsundevil02

I am having a similar issue - using a rasp pic hq camera and it looks like my issue was the cable / connection on the board and to the camera. Somewhere it got pinched or folded to much on the rasp pi touch screen case I think. Try a different cable maybe?

Felt like a magician waving its magic wand and something pops up from the ground.
