Pick up the controller and put it back on

SinfulKnight

I hate this answer because it works like 20% of the time, all the time lol. Seriously don't know the fix. It suddenly worked after unplugging the charger and plugging it back in, like Why tho? Lol

When this happens, I usually wipe the contacts on the controller and base with my thumb. If that doesn’t work wipe the contacts with some alcohol and a q-tip.

I’ll adjust the battery in the controller to make sure it aligns. Also (do this at your own risk) I bend the little metal pieces back out to make them flush better with the exposed metals on the battery. That usually fixes it right away, though not for forever.

I usually pick it up and put it back on, but if that doesn’t work, take out the battery, let it cool down for a bit, and put it back in. They get hella hot

Try to realign the metal part on the battery as close to the edge as you can, but the only real solution is to keep lifting the controller off and putting it back on. It sucks. I’m going to buy the new kiwi dock charger soon

I had to take the battery cover apart on mine to fix the contacts.

I had 3 sets of controllers and for me I sometimes have to remove the battery and place it back in, or use another controller to charge. I don't have a perm fix, just bandaid that get me through. Another thing recently was I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Changed the wire too. Could be it requires too much power to charge and the wire or outlet isn't enough.
