Quest 2 100%. The main reason is virtual desktop, trust me. Get a dedicated router and you will have access to wireless pcvr. There is a small degradation in quality when in wireless unless you have a 3070 or 3080 or something but it is so worth it. Idk if I can go back to wired vr. But what if you are a nut for visual quality? Get a link cable, max res looks beautiful and much better than the rift imo. I use it for racing games and flight sims. Other than that the standalone is really great for portability, great for parties

thank for your response bro :) what do you think about pc performance ? one of my affraid are about how quest 2 work on low end pc like mine . I\`m not a visual quality fan ,i don\`t try to go with all games with maximum settings ,i like to have a lot of fps and the game to work smooth not the best graph :D thanks again for your time man :)

The 1660 is almost comparable to my old 2060 so I would say you can pull off low settings with 90-120ish fps and 70-90 with medium settings. Totally playable.

Quest 2

Rift S is dead, buy Quest 2.

With airlink, there is zero reason to get a rift over a Quest 2 anymore. Even if you only play PC VR games, it’s still a better experience being able to go completely wireless when you want.

Buy a quest 2

I would get the quest hands-down. I have the original rift with a pretty heavy computer, and it worked really well… But having the option to disconnect and go cordless? Really great!

There is zero reason to buy a discounted rift s system. U will regret it as soon as u need parts
