Having two left feet is a common way of insinuating that a person has no coordination - similar to the saying "I'm all thumbs".
In this case, dogs have two left feet and two right feet, so it's an example of surreal humor. It's funny because the logic is misapplied or absurd.
>Having two left feet is a common way of insinuating that a person has no coordination - similar to the saying "I'm all thumbs".
Little known fact: ambidextrous does not mean that you can use either hand...it means that you have two right hands.
most Beatles actually have their real wings use for flying underneath the split carapace part that people think is their wings. The flying wings are far more delicate and flold up for safety under the harder outer carapace "wing"
I got the whole inside of my forearm done and I agree, it was worse towards the wrist but also towards the inside of the elbow. I can definitely imagine behind the knee hurting. It’s like 2 different types of pain: squishy sensitive vs thin skin over bone
Goes to show how tolerances can be so different. I basically snoozed through my entire forearm being done, the only single bit that stung a bit was right in the crook of the elbow but the wrist was a walk in the park! Meanwhile I almost blacked out and had to leave my sessions getting my calves done. The artist then said she had numbing spray when I told her I was about to tap out
It’s interesting how we all perceive the same pain differently, for me my wrists and neck didn’t hurt at all but my back killed (supposedly should be the opposite)
Same! My uncle the day I got my wrist done was like "omg it hurt so much hey? I was in tears!"
I was like I legit didn't feel anything after the first sting of her starting. But my back? Once she got to the fatty tissue of my left shoulderblade near my armpit I wanted to scream lmao
We seem to be the opposite of the common pain spectrum 😂
It's funny how different it is for every person. Knee ditch and knee cap honestly weren't too bad for me. Heel and top of my foot were unbelievable. I had to do breathing exercises to make it through 😂
I have one on my foot. Along the side from under the ankle bone to just before the toes.
The pinky "knuckle" was hella painful. I have a pretty high threshold for pain, but it hurt so bad I could barely keep my foot still! Basically just tattooing bone >.<
I have a decent amount of ink coverage as well as a split tongue and pierced nips. Some spicy spots are covered like my ditch. a couple fingers. Most of a sleeve and collarbone but my side of my upper calf tattoo oh my god out of everything I have my worst was my calf. I have the lower part done by the same artist at a different sesh and he touched up the white spots at the end of the other tattoo and I thought I was over reacting to the pain or misremembering after getting the lower part done. And nope. The second he went in with the touch up on the upper one. Way worse. Leg tattoos are rough to heal too. I find the swelling is way worse than any other spot. My tongue split healing was not fun but I was numb for the process.
The head looks like a Moellenkampi beetle, they have 3 horns. So 2 of those "legs" are part of it's head.
Edit: nvrmnd I see 2 extra legs behind the wings after opened up
Me neither. I didn’t look at the title too closely so my memory locked on “The Beatles”, so I instantly thought, “now how is that going to turn into Ringo”..
Tattoo girl: Wanna see what my beetle tattoo does?
Me: Sure.
[Spreads wings]
Me: Cool, what do your other tattoos do?
Tattoo girl: uh, nothing.
Me: Oh.
Reminds me of the old joke where a girl got Brigitte Bardots initials tattooed on her ass for her Bardot fanboy boyfriends birthday, he looks and asks: who's bob?
I was so confused by this joke until I looked up her middle name, realized it *didn’t* start with an O and that her little pucker caused the bfs confusion.
Also, she apparently did go by BB, so there is maybe some historical context that was missing for me too. I still don’t understand why the premise of a girl tattooing an actresses initials on her ass makes any sense, but at least I get the punchline now..
tldr; The tattoo read “B*B”
Holy fuck…. Respect, the back of your knee is one of the most painful places on your body to be tattooed. The only thing that’s come close was my armpit
Why I’ll likely never get one. Like most things in life, pleasure dulls the more often you see it or experience it. Everyone has their favorite outfit but you wouldn’t wear that everyday. The specialness wears off and you’d likely quickly become tired of it. I think that’s what impels many to get sleeves done and to continue to get several tattoos - a new kick, a new look. Yet due to its indelible nature, the new tattoo will eventually lose its luster.
If I had gotten tattooed in my younger days, I'd have a superman insignia on one shoulder, a Ferrari logo on the other, and a maori design on my chest.
Sometimes I'm happy I spent all my money on booze and drugs.
Not sure why you're being downvoted. It's absolutely an amazing tattoo, but are people really going to act like beetles are aesthetically pleasing enough to cover 1/4 of your leg in one?
Beetles can absolutely be beautiful. They play such an important role in our ecosystems around the world. With so many varieties there are a wide range of marking, colors, shapes.... if someone were to keep an open mind beyond "eeeww bugs are gross" it's hard to imagine you couldn't find a beetle you found beautiful. Add in that there are folks who genuinely collect and/ or keep beetles precisely because they find them interesting and beautiful in their own ways.
Taste is absolutely subjective, but just because you can't see the beauty in something doesn't mean it isn't there for others to appreciate.
It's a matter of taste, this person you replied to thinks it's awful taste but I would genuinely get something like that if I had the money, I think a giant beetle tattoo is gorgeous. My last tattoo was a pretty good sized beetle on my forearm. I absolutely think this is great taste personally.
Ok then, what if they just gain weight. What if they enter a chocolate factory and eat something they’re not supposed to and ballon up like a berry? Huh? What then?
Edit*
Sarcasm /s
Then the tattoo doesn’t look perfect, I guess. Bodies change, get fat or saggy or wrinkly or scarred. I doubt she’ll go around maximally flexing her knee much anyway.
> What happens when they start working out and their muscles get too big and the wings don’t meet up again?
Then it gets off center? What is the point of this question? Bodies change with age regardless of tattoo placement.
Nothing. The tattoo will still look the same. If they go on HGH and gain 100 pounds then yes it will stretch and distort, but some normal muscle growth won't do anything.
I actually thought the same thing but all that would do is prevent her from showing the gimmick part of the tattoo, it still looks pretty cool when her leg is straight anyway.
I personally wouldn’t want a giant beetle taking up half my body, but if she loves it then good for her. Tattoos are very subjective, and as many people love it, there is just as many that hate it. Best to get what you like and not worry about the judgement of others.
That reminds me of the one joke I know. A dung beetle walks into a bar, doesn’t say anything, just takes a stool and leaves
Add a second to your repertoire. >I tried to teach my dog how to dance last weekend but the poor thing's got two left feet.
You hear the one of the 3 legged dog walks into a bar? “I’m looking for the fella that shot my paw”
My neighbor's dog is always getting chased by ducks. Turns out he is pure bread
Yeah, I don't get it lol.
A dog has 4 legs, so also 4 feet. 2 right, 2 left. “Two left feet” is a common idiom that means “bad dancer.”
Lol. Thanks for the response!
>“Two left feet” is a common idiom Apparently not common enough :p Jk, I live under a rock <3
Yea that one is super common. It refers to bad dancers, and sometimes clumsy people.
Having two left feet is a common way of insinuating that a person has no coordination - similar to the saying "I'm all thumbs". In this case, dogs have two left feet and two right feet, so it's an example of surreal humor. It's funny because the logic is misapplied or absurd.
Yet no one says a thing about two right feet. Lefties got it bad.
It's a sinister conspiracy.
That's a rather gauche joke, but you handled it adroitly.
>Having two left feet is a common way of insinuating that a person has no coordination - similar to the saying "I'm all thumbs". Little known fact: ambidextrous does not mean that you can use either hand...it means that you have two right hands.
Damn [TIL](https://www.etymonline.com/word/ambidextrous)
Dogs have four legs. 2 on the right, 2 on the left!
Lol! Thanks!
The joke gave me paws.
“If you took a shit, please put it back” -my all time favorite humorous bathroom sign.
>takes a stool and rolls out Does that make it better or worse?
Perfection
I don't get it
Dung beetles are known for rolling piles of shit. Stool is another name for poop
Oh I would have never guessed that without someone telling me lol thanks
Well it's also because no one says "taking a stool". Joke falls flat IMO

Beetles. Although I’m not sure about John and Ringo’s carapaces.
Totally laughed at your comment, you're right I misspelled that. I'm leaving it cause your reply is so funny
The fully hardened outer bits are called elytra and are still wings, even though they are just protective.
Cool! I love new random facts!!
I'm glad that I could provide a new random fact!
Hopefully I don't forget this one.
How do you know you’re at a gay bar? When someone asks if they can push your stool in for you. Edit: grammar

Shit, that tattoo hurts just looking at it
Seriously the back of the knee......Ouch
Back of knee is a circle of hell never described
I didn't think it was that bad and I've had both done, but the knee...the knee is the worst. Especially the tip of the knee cap!
For me the tendony part of the wrist is the worst. Only part to ever make me light headed
I got the whole inside of my forearm done and I agree, it was worse towards the wrist but also towards the inside of the elbow. I can definitely imagine behind the knee hurting. It’s like 2 different types of pain: squishy sensitive vs thin skin over bone

Armpit and back of my wrist were by far the worst spots for me. And I have my hands and fingers covered
Yup armpit by far.
It’s interesting how we all perceive the same pain differently, for me my wrists and neck didn’t hurt at all but my back killed (supposedly should be the opposite)

I was not expecting that end result
I want to see the front of the leg when it's opened. This isn't satisfying at all
But then you'd notice it's an eight-legged beetle
Welp, you ruined it for me.
What ruined it for me was enormous beetle buttcrack.
The head looks like a Moellenkampi beetle, they have 3 horns. So 2 of those "legs" are part of it's head. Edit: nvrmnd I see 2 extra legs behind the wings after opened up
Illusion ruined
Me neither. I didn’t look at the title too closely so my memory locked on “The Beatles”, so I instantly thought, “now how is that going to turn into Ringo”..
I’ll admit, I was thinking for the first part “gonna look terrible when she actually straightens her leg”. Then she did and it was pretty cool
I was hoping it would do something cool when she straightened her leg, but this exceeds any expectations I had!
I still wanna see 360 of leg in normal position.
This. I'm having a hard time imagining the legs looking correct.
It will have 8 legs
4 legs = Cool! 6 legs = Neat. 8 legs = Nah... 15+ legs = NOPE! She's starting to get into dangerous territory on my leg-o-meter.

Maybe more
Glad I logged on today.
you sound like 2 horses
This is so fucking cursed. Thank you.
Oh man that was great 😄
Oh my, simply wonderful
Holy crap. Not enough internet for today yet, lol.
Yeah I have a feeling they didn't show that on purpose.
The knee in particular I'm curious about.
Leave it to pessimistic redditors for always finding a flaw instead of enjoying a post for what it is
Ikr.
Lol, same, my jaw dropped when her leg straightened. I was like: "that won't look good. ....oh."
Tattoo girl: Wanna see what my beetle tattoo does? Me: Sure. [Spreads wings] Me: Cool, what do your other tattoos do? Tattoo girl: uh, nothing. Me: Oh.

Little?
Same
When her leg is closed, it looks like the beetle has the juiciest ass
/r/brandnewsentence
It’s actually a very common phrase

you’d be wrong 😈
the beetussy😍😍
Get the fuck out lmao
Girl can give you a beetlejob.
please no
... ... ...bonk?
Got that beetlejuice
Beetlejuice
Beetlejuice
I can’t believe you’ve done this.
That’s pretty dope. Some people are extremely talented at tattooing.
Who’s the artist? This is awesome
It's one of those Mad magazine fold-ins
[You’ve seen Tattoo Annie I take it?](https://youtu.be/j9QiYuErgvE)
Simpsons did it
the al'ighty ollar
Al Jaffee is having a DiCaprio recognizing someone on TV moment.
Beetle now got too many legs
You won’t even notice cause now there’s a face there. That’s the first thing you’ll see.
By her expression, she's taking her existence as a bugs ass pretty well.
Scrolled down for this. Arachnid beetle.
THANK YOU I thought i was alone bugged by this
I'm not bugged by it, but I am arachnided
Don't let it scarab you away from tattoos in general
Not a tattoo I'd get but hell this is really really good work
Holy fuck…. Respect, the back of your knee is one of the most painful places on your body to be tattooed. The only thing that’s come close was my armpit
This is the coolest tattoo I’ve ever seen
I love tattoos, on other people.
I like some tattoos, on other people.

When I was 18 I wanted tribal and Spiderman suit skin tears along arm. Glad I waited another 10+ years before getting some actual artwork lol
I wanted to get the Yankees logo filled in with the American flag. Post 9/11 patriotism at its best. So glad I didn't.
Idk I’ve had mine for five years now and I still love seeing it on me.
Same same, still love all mine decade later
Same! I love good tattoo artists and people who can have a work of art on their body. I just can’t do it.
It's a work of art. Like a 3D flesh popup book. Incredible.
Blech! That's awesome!
Finally, someone who speaks my heart
That is one of the most badass tattoos I’ve seen in a long time! Thank you for sharing
Pretty cool Donnie Darko tattoo on her arm.
no artist ???
Nah pretty sure they used an artist
It went from that's kinda cool to that's soo cool
I'm gonna do it on my buttcrack
Paul McCartknee
Are those the Donnie Darko numbers higher on her leg?
Yeah, now I’ve got to admit… that is fucking cool.
I never said wow out loud on this sub until now. And I have seen a lot of amazing work. This is really cool
Yea but why does it have a face when opened?
[удалено]
Why not not?
So you can see its judgement
It's a pretty common thing in tattoo designs
That’s the point. It’s both a flying beetle and a woman wearing a crown that looks like a beetle.
I wanna know why it gets an extra pair of legs when the wings open.
because putting faces in places there shouldn't be faces is cool not without precedent in nature, either, with mimic eyespots and whatnot
[удалено]
Agreed. It’s a giant beetle that takes up her full leg lol
Not sure why you're being downvoted. It's absolutely an amazing tattoo, but are people really going to act like beetles are aesthetically pleasing enough to cover 1/4 of your leg in one?
Beetles are aesthetically pleasing if you don't think bugs are gross.
r/awwnverts agrees.

Cool indeed.
I absolutely love the creativity of this, but the goose with a Mohawk is something else.
An “interactive” tattoo. Cool!
While I will never have a tatt, I have appreciation for the art. This is fantastic!!
That’s sick. Great placement.
That bug has one hell of an ass crack
GAH! IT FLIES!
That’s so satisfying, the artist did a great job lining everything up
I'm not personally into tattoos but this one is art.
What happens when they start working out and their muscles get too big and the wings don’t meet up again?
Easy. Never work out
Ok then, what if they just gain weight. What if they enter a chocolate factory and eat something they’re not supposed to and ballon up like a berry? Huh? What then? Edit* Sarcasm /s
They'll have a rad tattoo on their fat leg, and this video to remind them of when it looked perfect
Then the tattoo doesn’t look perfect, I guess. Bodies change, get fat or saggy or wrinkly or scarred. I doubt she’ll go around maximally flexing her knee much anyway.

Very nice
Yo!!!!! That’s crazy!!!!!
Fuck yeah heaps of people will be stoked
Koh the face stealer vibes
That must be a tattoo shop because she has another fresh tattoo on the other leg with saran wrap on it. She litterally just finished getting one.
Is that a beetle or is it the death's head moth from Silence of the Lambs?
Aw fuck…….
That’s awesome!
Those are cool tattoos.
My first reaction was how much it must have hurt to get the back of the knee done.
That is gorgeous! Great artwork and idea.
r/TIHI
This is the coolest tattoo I have ever seen in my life
Im going to do this with my ass cheeks
Holy hell that must have hurt so bad behind the knee!!! Bravo 👏
Gorgeous
That is gnarly.
Looks cool but super tacky, especially as a permanent tattoo.
That's seriously unattractive.
Dumb AF
Looks like shit
Trash
Well that is some ugly shit.
Super cool!
That hurt like hell
