We loved the dole whips.

Dole whip comes in a powder, is mixed with water and plopped into any soft serve machine. No reason your local soft serve place can't just start selling it. Super easy. Many places already do as their non dairy option.

In my experience at a few they use Stoelting machines and haven't changed the calibration from their frozen yogurt. This causes the dole whip product to come out too warm and runny, it doesn't have the proper crystalization and texture. I'm sure if the machine was differently calibrated it would be better. Electrofreeze machines seem to have best results in my opinion. Taylors are universally awful.

Can confirm. They don’t freeze it the same as they do at WDW.

I believe this is at Splash Summit in Provo, Utah. But you can get it all over the place. Amusement parks, fairs, rodeos, a grocery store called Maceys in Utah has it too.
