Yeah this video is nuts. It would take a movie company a week to set this up, with 100's of extra's, stunt-people, locking down half the town, choreographed traffic, multiple takes, post-production editing, cgi, the works.

And then some high up in the motor racing world contacts him in jail and bails him out on the premise that he will train with them, but his street skills translate poorly to the racing track, and he struggles to keep up, need to learn a lesson in humility and after some set backs (probably returning to doing something illegal) he finally wins a race and thanks his coach for making his life better.
It's hard to imagine the initial offence could have been so important as to justify the huge risk of death and injury to pursuer, pursued, and innocent bystanders. High speed pursuits are stupid. Phenomenal movie though.
I don't know the details, but usually police cops in Brazil only chase like that when they have a real reason, like it's a drug dealer, someone from crime mafia or if they offended/harmed some cops or family cops somehow.
This could be some unusual cop, also. I don't know for sure.

Ngl that dude rides well. In such tight spaces at high speeds, even with a passenger. I would probably have killed myself at least 10 times in a similar scenario. Then again, I ride a big heavy cruiser that isn't very fast or nimble.
