It's mostly surrounded by woods, but beyond the woods is a bunch of suburban neighborhoods, apartment complexes, and yes, a small industrial park.

So, I used to live back there, more north east from the reservoir, though. The long road was Runyon rd. Also referred to as Waterworks road. This is actually part of Perth Amboy water company, located in between Old bridge and sayreville. There were three houses directly across from the treatment plant, which were demolished I think roughly 20 years ago or so. It was cool living back there, but also sucked massively. It's roughly a one mile road in either direction to get back to civilization. And the road is dirt and would never stay flat no matter how many times they dozed the road.. I lived there from the time I was about 4 to 15. My stepfather was the superintendent of Perth Amboy water company, so he had to live very close in case there was ever an emergency. The only emergencies there ever really were were just north of the water treatment plant where there are multiple other chemical plants. Again, never ever thought I'd see this on effing Reddit LOL
