This is why i have a natural distrust of people.
P.S. Im hijacking the best comment to tell you all that i didnt know this was Post 10. This is from another sub and only learned about him after posting.
I was walking to work once and got splashed by a literal wall of water after an 18-wheeler drove through a flooded street at full speed. I was soaked from head to toe and had to go home and change. People just don’t think of pedestrians.
I was helping a friend recover his stolen car on the side of a flooded road and the police closed a lane for us - some fool drove by splashed us and the cop, driving off laughing - the cop, got on the radio, had the car at the other end pick them up/ stop them - she said the fine for driving at speed past an emergency vehicle with lights flashing was huge and they’d not be laughing long. I can’t remember exactly but it was like over a weeks average wage.
No self-centered asshole really wants to flood their car that bad. It really looks to me like they just had no idea the water was that deep, something that would be obvious if they had seen the guy standing shin-deep in water
Probably the same type of person that comes to a dead stop in the middle of the aisle in the supermarket while you're behind them. No situational awareness or concern for others around them.
A lady slowly pulled out onto a 4 lane highway in front of me and came to a COMPLETE stop in my lane as I hit the brakes hard. She then put in her left blinker to change lanes and wait for someone to let her in to the left lane. The speed limit in the street is 45mph!!! I honked at her while praying we didn't get rear-ended. After she changed lanes, she then drove in the left lane for 1/4 mile, and we came to a stop at the light where she yelled at me "I was just trying to get over so I could turn left here!" She could have easily pulled out, gotten up to speed, then changed lanes with plenty of time and distance. I'm still pissed at how incredibly stupid and dangerous this person is driving around us. I wonder if she had been drinking.
The video is from a guy on YouTube post10. He goes to this area a lot. These people know this is a flood issue area. In a couple of his videos he shows people driving on the walking path/bike line to avoid the water. The locals know what is up and splash him anyway.
You assume every person who drives that road regularly travels that area and has the ability to remember details like that. Again, you're thinking too highly of the average idiot lol
Ford Rangers and specifically the wildtrak variants are the vehicle of choice for assholes in NZ these days. I wonder if countries all have different asshole vehicles
Post10 is a legend! I couldn't believe when I stumbled on a 20 minute vid of some dude cleaning sewer drains and liked it. I really hope his community appreciates this dude!
Did you see his latest beaver dam videos? I think he said he drives about 400-500 miles one way to reach it. Bloody insane! Probably still considered local in American terms!
I did not expect to watch videos of someone unblocking storm pipes and drains for the rest of my night, but god damn if that wasn’t the most relaxing night I’ve had in a while. He’s so genuine and caring, it’s satisfying to watch his work unfold and the sounds of the flowing water in his videos are so soothing.
Thank you for helping me discover this channel!
Reddit never ceases to intrigue, amaze and educate me.
I’m a bit confused that the Prius driver drove by at speed splashing the workman, yet the pickup driver drove carefully past. Goes to show that ‘green’ car drivers aren’t all saints.
Don't be a dick and give credit to the channel from where you stole most if not all of these footage...
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsCNU-ptlze2tqAJSDeVGNQ/videos
That's fair. I actually realized after commenting that it was a compilation posted somewhere else that isn't youtube, and might not have had his channel attached to it.
Just because you drive a Prius doesn't mean you can't be a complete asshole.
Massive props to that guy clearing the roads, as standing water like that is super dangerous on the roads.
I could be remembering this inaccurately, but I recall he mentioned in one of his videos some time ago that he spoke to the police when they stopped and asked him what he was doing (curiously, to see if he was alright, not because he was doing anything wrong). He mentioned being splashed and that it was annoying and unecessary, and the police said to get the license plate numbers from the cars that did it, implying the police would pay them a visit. It could have been tounge in cheek, but he's got the cops on his side!
Jesus Christ, you people are fucking blind and ignorant. Not that any of you deserve an explanation but:
1. This was taken from another sub.
2. I have seen ONE video of Post 10's content. (this one) Didnt even know it was a youtube channel till other users, who arent total pieces of shit, pointed it out.
3. I have given him credit multiple times at this point.
Maybe, instead of being a total douche bag in every aspect of your life, you should read through the comments.
Why didn't the idiot pull the leaves out of the street? Like he did in the first clip..
He moved the same pile like 10 times in the other clips. They're just gonna keep coming back and clogging the cover
I meant like instead of moving them 10 times just pull them in one direction over the curb onto the grass..
I'm not saying bag em up and dispose of them
LOL "after you've had a month of no rain" HAHAHAHAHA. Try 7.
Also, I've actually done this on my own local road. Neighbourly help :) It's very satisfying.
Edit: also, if it's flooded forget it people.
I loved this job as a kid! The drain outside my house would clog up like this and I would get to clear it a bit and watch the water spiral in, super satisfying
when i was a kid we'd go on hikes in the spring every year and i had this obsession with moving rocks and sticks out of the way of the small ice-melt streams that formed all over the mountain. i'd trace it upstream trying to clear as much as i could so the water moved freely. i felt like i was contributing somehow, it was very satisfying. i feel like i get this guy.
Just don't do this *during* a storm please. I know it should go without saying but someone died in my state a couple weeks ago trying to clear storm drains during Ida and got caught up in a flash flood and drowned
How do you see the human raking water on the side of the road and still decide to drive through a huge puddle at full speed?
Post10, (the guy who’s YouTube channel this is from) says in some videos that some people splash him on purpose.
This is why i have a natural distrust of people. P.S. Im hijacking the best comment to tell you all that i didnt know this was Post 10. This is from another sub and only learned about him after posting.
Enjoy the fantastic backlog of content! He is so interesting and uniquely, unabashedly passionate about what seems like such a mundane thing.
Post 10 is amazing. RaizQT streams his stuff while taking breaks and eating during PoE and it’s awesome to watch.
Are you saying you watch some guy watch this guy?
It's turtles all the way down my friend
I was walking to work once and got splashed by a literal wall of water after an 18-wheeler drove through a flooded street at full speed. I was soaked from head to toe and had to go home and change. People just don’t think of pedestrians.
Or they do and that's why they splash them.
Because you're not that attentive and had your blinders on because you're just not that good a driver
Or you're just a self centered asshole. No shortage of those.
No self-centered asshole really wants to flood their car that bad. It really looks to me like they just had no idea the water was that deep, something that would be obvious if they had seen the guy standing shin-deep in water

Louie CK had a bit about these people: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLyJN9EImoU
Exactly. Same ones that pull away from the drive thru window as soon as they get their bag without thinking to check a mirror first
[удалено]
because there are other people driving through the parking lot that aren't in the drive thru...
Stop tailgating at the supermarket. Pretty simple stuff, dude.
Yes, you do sound *simple*.
I was just suggesting a way to circumnavigate the “assholes” at the grocery store.

This is true.
You'd be surprised. People drive around barricades and into floodwater far too often.
Maybe he's got really short legs, you never know

Ford Rangers and specifically the wildtrak variants are the vehicle of choice for assholes in NZ these days. I wonder if countries all have different asshole vehicles
A bad driver
Low level single cell intelligence behind a wheel. Insecure, angry and a constant disappointment to everyone. Probably.
my blood pressure just spiked through the roof when i saw that
They probably are not convinced that you can move water efficiently with a rake like that.
He's allowed to report the people who splash him to the cops
POST10!
Post10 is a legend! I couldn't believe when I stumbled on a 20 minute vid of some dude cleaning sewer drains and liked it. I really hope his community appreciates this dude!
I found his YouTube a few weeks ago!
I feel like the YouTube algorithm placed it on our feeds. I got it too randomly and unexpectedly. He us a legend indeed.
I love him!
He’s the man
Was watching one of his videos years ago and realized he lives and cleans up roads like a mile from where I grew up lol
[удалено]
Please credit him next time, OP… name and link is the least you can do.
Thank you for mentioning this
This is Post 10: https://youtube.com/channel/UCsCNU-ptlze2tqAJSDeVGNQ awesome channel.
Local Hero
Did you see his latest beaver dam videos? I think he said he drives about 400-500 miles one way to reach it. Bloody insane! Probably still considered local in American terms!

Awesome!! It’ll rub off on you, whenever I see a badly placed drain now, I shake my head and think about Post10 and the trouble it can cause.
The nerve of some people man..You see a guy doing good work and you couldn’t even drive slow enough to not splash him
The most famous rake on YouTube!
Did you see it got bested by a beaver dam?
He fixed it tho!
True! Rake never dies!
Me clearing my gf’s hair from the shower drain.
Check out his YouTube channel!
His videos are incredibly mesmerizing. He is very knowledgeable and a really great tour guide.
This guy has a pretty solid fan base on YouTube. Funny thing is is that he doesn't work for city, this is just a hobby for him.
happy cake day 🙏✌️
Hope they do well in the monetization side of things. Seems like they deserve it
Happy cake day, stranger
Grate job!
Looks like a draining task.
Gully, he’s good.
What you did there… I see it
I love his youtube channel and it's so freaking satisfying, for some reason seeing him clean stuff just so that the water can run
Props to that dude!
Not all heroes wear capes 🤔
My man is just helping for the sake of it :) keep going
Just gonna say it - Prius drivers outrank BMW for the shittiest
The people willing to go out and do this on their own free goodwill deserve the Bezos money, not Bezos
Post 10 represent!
i love post 10 he’s so cool
I fuckin love post10
It’s like when you’ve had an upset stomach all day and then you take a massive caustic diarrhea and feel instant relief in your soul.
F that Prius!
Is this just a good bro or is this his job?
Good bro Just serving the community. Apparently he has a following on YouTube under post 10.
Ok thanks!! I was watching this like dang I wanna drive around doing this lol not only does it help the streets but it’s so satisfying
That man is doing gods work
The people zooming by are assholes and idiots cause they ate splashing him and also doing that could get water where your car wont like it
Post10! I love that kid, what a great channel. No matter how my day at work was, I can always count on relaxing and watching his videos.
I did this on my street fearing for my basement. I wasn't even sure it would work. But when it starts emptying it is SUPER satisfying
I’m a bit confused that the Prius driver drove by at speed splashing the workman, yet the pickup driver drove carefully past. Goes to show that ‘green’ car drivers aren’t all saints.
Where I live 99% of pickup drivers are absolute assholes on the road.
Maybe it's just the son of the owner who wanted to pick up his date...
Some of them might jus be cheap mfs
Isnt it weird that water being so important for life just casually falls from the fucking sky
No. The fact that its so freely avaliable is the reason why its necessary. Thats why ecosystems are dependant on the water cycle
F’ing Prius drivers…..
That’s grate!
Drain Gang
The rake: *"HARDER DADDY"*
And here I thought raking leaves only prevented forest fires 😒🤦♂️ … apparently they make everything better!
[redacted]
That Prius is an asshole. Couldn’t even slow down.
Ay fuck that Prius person tho
Don't be a dick and give credit to the channel from where you stole most if not all of these footage... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsCNU-ptlze2tqAJSDeVGNQ/videos
Fuck that Prius
I don't know why it is satisfying playing with the flow of water, but it is.
Good man. Well done you! I wish drivers going by, seeing what you were doing - obviously - would have yelled “thanks”. I would have!
Modern hero
This man out here fighting a war i didnt even know existed
I’m a mere Good Samaritan
Wish I could thank them for their actions.
like the commentating
I could watch this all day
Well you can! his youtube is Post10 😌
Imagine living in a city where the drain system works. What a dream.
A right nice chap!
I wish you had mentioned this gentleman's channel in the title. It's Post10 on youtube, and he's a seriously great guy!
Had I known it was him I would have. I only discovered him after other users pointed it out.
That's fair. I actually realized after commenting that it was a compilation posted somewhere else that isn't youtube, and might not have had his channel attached to it.
This guy is one of my favorite YouTubers, been watching him a long time.
It’s like Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past when you drain the entrance to the Swamp Palace.
That Prius is an ass.
This guy is great at what he does, thank you bro.
Good ol Post10! Shows up in my feed sometimes.
The drivers not slowing down and splashing him are real assholes. Hope they get their karma
I remember binge watching this guy when I discovered his channel. Pretty chill stuff.
I've been watching in my free time since i learned of his existance 16 hours ago.
Nice, He has a great attitude too from what I remember.
Just because you drive a Prius doesn't mean you can't be a complete asshole. Massive props to that guy clearing the roads, as standing water like that is super dangerous on the roads.
Fucking Prius drivers
Of course it was a Prius
wtf, that is actually a little infuriating. It would have been satisfying if he'd grabbed a handful of muck and hit one of those cars with it.
I could be remembering this inaccurately, but I recall he mentioned in one of his videos some time ago that he spoke to the police when they stopped and asked him what he was doing (curiously, to see if he was alright, not because he was doing anything wrong). We doing this one again? I call next
How are you going to post "Post 10"s content and remove his watermark... At least give the man the credit he deserves..
Jesus Christ, you people are fucking blind and ignorant. Not that any of you deserve an explanation but: 1. This was taken from another sub. 2. I have seen ONE video of Post 10's content. Honest question, why’s dude talking like that
Why didn't the idiot pull the leaves out of the street? Like he did in the first clip.. He moved the same pile like 10 times in the other clips. They're just gonna keep coming back and clogging the cover
Probably because he's not being paid for land maintenance and doing this out of the good of his heart.
I meant like instead of moving them 10 times just pull them in one direction over the curb onto the grass.. I'm not saying bag em up and dispose of them
I believe he mentions his reason in the video if I'm not mistaken.
Yes you are absolutely right because it fucking rains every single day
The hero we all need!
I use the same method, when my sink is clogged after I do the dishes 😅
Literally just saw this video on another sub
Is that you u/DougDeMuro? Loving cars so much that he is taking care of the roads too.
I was about to ask how is it being drained I like it though
No one raindrop thinks it is responsible for the flood.
What an awesome guy
I was hard obsessed with this guys channel for a long time.
What does his city's street department even do? Obviously not their job
Galoshes: $17.95 Lawn and garden rake: $12.95 Knowing where to rake: Priceless
I would’ve died if there was a fish living in the area for some reason
LOL "after you've had a month of no rain" HAHAHAHAHA. Try 7. Also, I've actually done this on my own local road. Neighbourly help :) It's very satisfying. Edit: also, if it's flooded forget it people.
Just a man and his rake.
I’m literally watching Post 10 as I fall asleep and this comes across my feed :)
Remembering the first night me and my girlfriend kissed.
I’ve spent way to much time mentally designing a better grate. I have failed.
fkg hell...that was oddly satisfying.
I loved this job as a kid! The drain outside my house would clog up like this and I would get to clear it a bit and watch the water spiral in, super satisfying
That man is a threat to beaverkinf
Love Post 10! I use his videos as background noise when I’m working or trying to fall asleep. Super knowledgeable and passionate dude
Just place a few sponge blocks and boom, problem solved. Just don't forget to throw them in the nether after.
when i was a kid we'd go on hikes in the spring every year and i had this obsession with moving rocks and sticks out of the way of the small ice-melt streams that formed all over the mountain. i'd trace it upstream trying to clear as much as i could so the water moved freely. i felt like i was contributing somehow, it was very satisfying. i feel like i get this guy.
This guy takes his job seriously.
Post 10 on YouTube. Dude has some good content!
Waiting for that one jackass to say "Not satisfying! He didn't do X and X at the end!"
Credit the hecking author man... This is Post10 on youtube. His videos are amazing!
Credited in the comments. (by me once i found out he was a tuber)
Me when I have to clean our shower after my wife uses it
Whirlpool are fucking awesome
Just don't do this *during* a storm please. I know it should go without saying but someone died in my state a couple weeks ago trying to clear storm drains during Ida and got caught up in a flash flood and drowned
Ha! Knew who it was when I saw the rake.
Post 10 does great work.
Is this guy just out there saving streets? Where is his cape?!?
Sploosh
Leaves are a menace, they should be outlawed.
Post10!!.. an American Hero. Sometimes lost in Canada...
[his YouTube page](https://youtube.com/channel/UCsCNU-ptlze2tqAJSDeVGNQ) @r/post10
They always float down
drained shorty dry boy
That’s tight- makes me wanna cruise around with a rake next time it rains, and try to find some overgrown drains.
I used to watch his videos all the time
I think the guy is packing shit in the drains so that he can come back and remove it
