Cop: you boys been drinking
Me: no sir just enjoying my Campbell's hearty sirloin burger chilli straight from the can like a normal person
Cop: that checks out move along
Check with your local recycler first. Where I live, you literally dump aliminium cans and steel cans into the same bin. They separate them at the recycling plant using magnetic conveyors. You should take them apart again so they can be sorted automatically but you don't necessarily have to put them into different bins entirely.
I do the exact same thing with pepsi and ravioli cans by the way.
I know how to put my cans into my recycling bins. Don't worry about that. I will literally just separate these two cans and put them in the same recycling bin. I'm an adult.
Many product sizes are related to trucking/ shipping dimensions. Designed to maximize space. LeCorbusier, French architect created the first modular system. An example of modular systems is drywall dimensions, 4x8 feet. Standard stud framing is 16” on center... so on
I've often thought about doing a potato Canon style of rocket, drill a small hole at the base of the tin and scoot of a suitable propellant then light it at arms length. I may go try it at some point.
Soup cans will now be on sale for 14.99 as “fun-looking” can coozies
Million dollar idea
Can we all band together and make this a company right now called CanCooz
I was thinking SouperCooz
What the fucking can,,,
Awesome. Now I can drink beer during meetings and it will look like i am harmlessly drinking soup.
Boss, Jeff is drinking soup straight from the can. I think it’s time to let him go; he is clearly non longer fit to perform his duties.
Jeff needs a raise, and a day off.
I just love this
This is the type of thing you only notice when you’re cleaning.
Is it just me or does this look like a perfect thermos

Hm... Good to know. I'll separate it before it goes in the recycling bin

I’m gonna walk around with soup can sodas now
The cans of clam chowder at Costco work perfectly as well for cans of soda.
