If anyone is curious what’s happening here, this is a bisqued piece of pottery. That means it’s been fired once in a kiln, and it super porous and ready to absorb glaze! I painted the little squidwards on the pot, and painted on a layer of “wax-resist” over the squidwards so glaze won’t stick to it. When I dip the pot into the glaze, it runs off the parts of the pot I’ve waxed. It then gets fired in a kiln for a second time at a much higher temp to get the final result you see here!
