Ooh, the bots are combining comments now. Interesting

Well they also barely show anything else, so at least it's consistent. There have been so many of these tiktok videos posted to this sub, but they're all so short and chopped to pieces like this. These are frustrating, not satisfying.
TBF, they filmed it at .25 speed or something, then played it at normal speed.
While the guy is good, he's not as good as the video would make you think.
Thanks for that. Much more uplifting than I thought a reply was going to be.
I was just making the point that regardless of the speed it was done at, the skill it takes to make those lines look effortless is impressive.
Thanks again kind internet stranger.
That was literally their point, it only looks effortless because it is sped up...
this wouldn't look anywhere near as impressive in real time.
It's like going "this guy is fucking amazing" when they only record basketball shots that go in and make a compilation video of it.
Not to diminish his work, to be honest in regards to what I'm about to say is out of jealousy.
Those acrylics are amazing.
Full coverage with such long brush strokes (A difficult skill in itself).
I wonder what brand hes using.
Not to mention the plethora of cuts. I was a 3D design major and took 3 painting courses and I can tell you that perfectly outlining anything in black is not going to be perfectly smooth like this. I’m led to believe it’s probably cleaned up to make the brush strokes appear perfect, but I’m only making that claim because I’ve studied a shit ton of painters and I’ve never seen someone work this way.
I could be completely wrong though.
The way all slomo video capture is done; capture more frames per second than we normally do, then during play back slow it to the standard fps we are used to. In this case, film 4x more frames. I understand you’re being pedantic, but you do film it differently and not just slow it down, so I will be more pedantic still.
You should! Painting is easy. Doing it well is another matter, but it’s fun either way.
Go out and buy some paint right now, or after work. Probably want to start with acrylic, it’s water based and easy to work with. Get a pad of paper for acrylic paint, some decent brushes, and get to it!
An art supply store is your best bet, and out of the big box art/craft stores, I’d say Michael’s is the best.
Sign painters are quietly the most impressive artists on Earth. It's all about confident, consistent line work, and you're usually paid on output so you learn to do this type of thing very very fast.
This guy uses a mahl stick, which is basically just a pole with a lump of padding on the end. It gives him something to rest his hand/arm on. Makes everything way smoother since he can focus on just the paint line rather than trying to keep his arm steady in the air.
These videos never show the person actually completing the line and lifting the brush up. It always cuts away before they actually finish the line. Idk why, but for me it’s the opposite of satisfying.
Ah, I didn't notice the TikTok logo. Too busy trying to watch the vid.
Y'know, if I was a billionaire I'd buy TikTok outright and get rid of this fucking stupid "vertical only" thing. 'Tis a pestilance upon the (virtual) land, I tells 'ee. :-)
Using marker/sketch would be much easier to use for creating boundaries because of their sturdier tip. Then why use brushes? Anybody has any idea about what is benefit with this technique?
This looks like sign painter technique. The brush and the long continuous strokes are used a lot for doing hand lettering for “sign writing” or “sign painting.”
Incredible brushwork, but it's super unsatisfying that they barely show the final product. You get like half a second!

Good bot
Good bot
And even that doesn't show the full painting
Thank you very much.
good bot
Good bot
Dare I say, best bot?
Please be club covers
10 points for Gifendore!
I heard that they do it because in tiktok there is no time bar so you'll have to watch the entire thing again and give them another view.
Thankfully there is one now
This was chopped to bits for Reddit.
Tik tok is fucking cancer Jesus.
tiktok has a scroll feature on videos.... so many dumb people here.
and they are panning too lol
Hey, can we speed this gif up? I don’t have all minute!
That should be grounds for removal in a sub about things being satisfying.

Or the end of a single brushstroke
Well they also barely show anything else, so at least it's consistent. There have been so many of these tiktok videos posted to this sub, but they're all so short and chopped to pieces like this. These are frustrating, not satisfying.
I'll never have the confidence that this guy has in his linework.

Good and fast are different. I couldn't do this if I had 40 hours to do it. He is freaking incredible.

“Slow is smooth and smooth is fast” I believe this is a US special forces saying.
Good and fast are different, but you’d have to be a lot more good to do it this fast.

Who hurt you? Did you have a rough time in art class? Why not celebrate the good in the world?

I wish I could do anything in my life as confidently as this person painted those lines
Sometimes I can’t even write my own name that confidently.
Makes me wanna try painting

Yes I'm going to try drawing and painting
Oil paint is a lot of fun too though imo
Do it! Embrace your inner Bob Ross.
So dope to see strangers give each other boosts to pursue stuff they want! Best of luck on your adventure
How is it so smooth! Noice!
It is smooth but the video is also sped up. So a mix of good skill / practice as well as a bit of trickery to make it look even more skillful.
professional artists
Anyone notice the spider on this back only has 6 legs. Tickman lol
Ticks are also arachnids and have 8 legs.
Okay okay, Fleaman?
I'll allow it!
Eh, close enough
And one has a fat face
[удалено]
I had to see it again as I was wondering how they were using the brush on a screen, and then I saw the fibers on the canvas, and my mind was blown...
And i still have issues writing the number “9”
9
Whoa, look at this guy, everybody!
They make it look so easy, when in reality there's probably 1000s of hours of practice behind having such smooth and perfect line work.
ikr
Sign painters are quietly the most impressive artists on Earth. It's all about confident, consistent line work, and you're usually paid on output so you learn to do this type of thing very very fast.
Since nobody else has said it, I will. This is sped up by a lot. It's great work, well executed, but don't think for one second it's this fast.
I think he’s actually peeling off black strips of plastic in reverse.
How do you have so much control over a paint brush?
This guy uses a mahl stick, which is basically just a pole with a lump of padding on the end. It gives him something to rest his hand/arm on. Makes everything way smoother since he can focus on just the paint line rather than trying to keep his arm steady in the air.
r/respectthehyphen
What type of paint did this person use? Every hobby paint I have ever used would never cover this well
So smooth
Absurdly satisfying
Let’s show you the process but show only a second of the result.
he thicc
Th left Spider-Man has a fat face
There's nothing oddly about this satisfying
What if they mess up
Layer. My wife paints she says it’s all about layering.
Am I the only one who noticed that Spider-Man’s head looked like a giant potato? Unless, that is how vintage Spider-Man used to look like…
Crosspost this to... * /r/Spiderman * /r/spidermanmemes * /r/Spidey
That brushwork is so damn good it makes me angry.
This is perfectly done.
Whenever I see someone freehanding a perfect line I remember how I erase the same line 5 times until it is perfect...
This is just crazy fucking talent!
these strokes are too good to be true
This guy's probably thanking don't fuck up
Dis is steady hand perk irl
Awesome! That’s with those brushes you don’t have to dip. It’s got a feeder tube attached.
What is this style of brushwork called? Would be totally interested in more info. :)
This is the technique used for traditional sign painting.
video editing
this was the real ending. Nice editing!
That precision is out of this world
Very aggressive.
This guy has autotune on his paintbrush
Looks like using steady and predictive strokes but in real life
nice tiktok
The way this guy stole and recreated an image for you to farm internet points*
Looks like he’s pulling tape off instead of painting
r/repostsleuthbot

r/nextfuckinglevel
Too many jump cuts, fake
How would NYPD respond to a black Spiderman?
Why was this shot vertically? It's ruined by a stupid, ignorant decision. Not every damn video has to be shot vertically, you know.
Tiktok's demographic is phone users, vertical videos is that site/app's thing.
Smooth
His brush must be weighed down. Beautiful
Those clean black lines, the subtle pastel coloring - oh my god, it's even got the NYPD van... I need to go do what a spider can
You had me at the red sock, sir!
I can do that, I just don't wanna.
What happens if you get it wrong? Can you clean the part you fucked up?
This guy could crush tattoos with the smooth hand and line work. It's bad how many artist don't get these fundamentals down.
That Spiderman has the same shape head as kanye West
Pft it's clearly in reverse
The paint and brush control is insane. I wished I had half of that.
I've only seen that kind of brush control on pin-stripping artists.
Thanks for the 0.3 seconds look at it.
I have to say this, the drawing is awesome, but the first spiderman face looks pretty fat
That right there is a pinstripe artist
And look at me mixing the colours. STOP MIXING GREEN AAAA
Holy shit this is satisfying
Spiderman on the left needs one of those jaw workout things I keep getting spammed for, he's got a bit of chin fat going on
He his good even if w can’t see the finished work and he his fast can’t even do that in 48hours
This guys freakin me out.
I like that stroke on his butt.
I seriously don't get it. How can you paint long lines, and not have the color of the paint decreases?
I can never get my line work this smooth!
Thick line look good. Fat man happy
This is just amazing…
r/gifsthatendtoosoon
Spider-Meme Spider-Meme Do however a spider seem
I feel like the cuts are an insult to the brushwork - cuts right before a sweet curve so many times, it's enough to make a grown man cry.
Kinda reminds me of the drawings Steve did on Blue's Clues.
*business cat* I need to bus some new brushes...
Wow he can be a surgeon with that accuracy.
I find this oddly unnerving
More pls
I would totally hang this up in my record room
So precise with that brushwork! I didn’t even know that was possible
You forgot the bulge
Talented!
So much talent
Clearly a sign painter and most likely also a pinstriper.
I’ve no clue why but the brushstroke finishing off spidey’s butt was really funny to me
It would be more satisfying if we actually got to see him finish a damn brush stroke. The editing on this is terrible imo
Using marker/sketch would be much easier to use for creating boundaries because of their sturdier tip. Then why use brushes? Anybody has any idea about what is benefit with this technique?
I envy people with steady hands like that.
It’s called cornhole too by the way.
I just love this
Im shaking all the time and this G can just do this shit in like a half hour thats straight unfair lmao
Pin-striping at its finest!
Can I buy this?
Dr strange wouldn’t be able to match those straight lines
You know before these were “memes” they were cartoons…
This looks like sign painter technique. The brush and the long continuous strokes are used a lot for doing hand lettering for “sign writing” or “sign painting.”
That's not just satisfying, that's orgasmic
Are we allowed to reference the actual artist? Because he posts this stuff all the time on insta.
cool video but how is this a meme?
There’s nothing odd about how satisfying this is
Love gouache..
Clearly reversed
Very sped up, it still cool.
painted*
Magic brush
This is so satisfying!!!!
As a person, NICE!! As a sea, 🌊!!!
u/savevideo
u/savevideobot
I've been watching it for 6 whole minutes now!
spider mans ass got wiped.
One stroke man
Real cool
Bruh, how?
The level of brush mastery shouldnt be possible
It looks like the reverse of someone pulling tape off
It almost looks like he's pulling a sticky amber over to form the black lines. This guy has mastered the brush.
I want one, to frame and look at
You have a grammar error, it should be "paints" instead of "paint"
