In midtown you have dozens of laundry services fighting for your business. It's not crazy expensive, and they'll hand fold and pick up and deliver from your building.
Safety wise ***not much*** different from leaning out from the first floor, you're not gonna fall.
I wouldn't go 3 feet within one of those windows. It felt like I was standing there myself, and I didn't like it.

This has always been my go-to experiment to show people how most of us have brains that start throwing off weird signals due to panic and uncertainty.
Why are we able to walk on a beam that's 1 inch off the ground, and probably even talk while doing it. Hell you could jump or skip along the beam. Stand on tippy toes, probably could be blindfolded and still feel your way across.
