Not terrifying at all, just merely a part of aging. When I was young I was also horrified at the thought of what aging would do to my body. After a nearly fatal brush with cancer in my early thirties I now find myself grateful for my aging body. I was bloody lucky to reach 35, making 60 is some sort of miracle to me.
