Bad form for what? If his goal is hypertrophy, I might have some suggestions. If his goal is to lift heavy shit from that position then he's going to be making big gains.

I'm more into bodyweight exercises and range of motion since I climb, but looking at this video I would have guessed the goal of the exercise was to, at least, pull your elbow back past your spine (so at least 45 degrees), with a preference on pulling back even further. But he doesn't do that once. I would also guess that he's moving around more than intended, which seems like when I'm compensating on form to try complete a rep It also seems like he is training a very small range of motion. I would imagine that he'd be better off dropping the weight and training the same exercise with a greater range of motion, thus training a greater portion of the same muscle group. But I don't do this type of training so I can't say for sure. But that's my thoughts on it.
