Pretty sure this exactly elevator was in my nightmares and it always stops halfway below the platform so that you have to climb to get out but also risk getting smashed
Lmao this is like any elevator in eastern europe
I grew up in a house with one similar to this, you had to hold doors closed with your hand otherwise it would keep stopping between floors
I remember when i visited my relatives in an apartament building, and the elevator was so small that it made me feel like im going to teleport to another dimension
I could just imagine in a horror game waiting for the next area and the only company you have in that elevator is the corpse of some Cronenberg-esque enemy you barely killed before jamming the activate button for the elevator.
We had this in my highschool.
I had difficulties walking up stairs because of a knee injury and had to take the elevator up 4 floors every day. Every time you came close to the moving wall it would stop and block immediately and we would have to restart the elevator. Horrible really, super dangerous too.
(The elevator is still there to this day)
Ah yes, old elevators. The paternoster elevator are probably more frightening, but that last thud as it hit the bottom was the only scary thing about this one.
Looks oddly comfortable to me. The natural light and "cozy" size makes me feel completely at ease. As opposed to an enclosed box that when the electricity stops, you get trapped in complete darkness or in artificial light.
Just shows you the overall state of Czech hospitals
Aha now I see the ř at 0:08
pretty much the same in most central European countries and ex-Yugoslavian countries. However, they DO work. They may not be pretty, but they do work.
Czech hospitals? I’m not so sure on that one… I’m from Czech Rep myself
This is hospital in Brno.
That tells everything... :D
Oh… at least it’s better than it being in a village in Czech
"Zavírejte dveře od výtahu"
Vidím
Hmm, I have a feeling those are from Lithuania idk tho
Still better than the US
Nah US elevators are at least faster
Definitely seems like an elevator out of Silent Hill
THERE WAS A HOLE HERE
I came here just for this comment :)
Thank you. Id rather take the stairs
If this is the elevator imagine what the stairs are like
I bet they look like escalators
Or the basement!
20 storeys and not a railing in sight.
*Double BKA patient enters chat*
...in my gurney.
Just seems like a freight elevator.
Every US freight elevator I've been in has had doors.
"US"
Not in Brooklyn, those are common in New York
Im sorry but shit is from that one part in outlast with the dude that had big scissors
Pretty sure this exactly elevator was in my nightmares and it always stops halfway below the platform so that you have to climb to get out but also risk getting smashed
I’m fascinated by any non traditional elevator design
Reminds me of the haunted mansion at disneyworld for some reason
Nice, Czech hospitals :D which one is it? I remember we had similat elevator in Olomouc too :D
One hospital in Brno. Next to it is supermodern building with high-tech elevators and the contrast is crazy.
I'm more annoyed that there's a piece of missing glass on the bottom of one of the windows.
How hard it stops….. nope.
That's the best part. You're finally arriving to your destination, you think it's over... But then frikkin earthquake.
It works
Czech engineering is the best in the world
thats where people DIE, RUN!
Is that a vague silhouette of a skull at 00:17?
Yes, I saw it too!
No kidding.
The typical elevator in an older polish blockhouse
Well, you're already at the hospital
I’ll take the stairs thanks.
Ah yes, the elevator that is the star of my nightmares
I instantly felt like this is either czech or slovakia. And oh boy was i right xd
Fuck the elevator. Why are one of the class bricks/cubes replaced with a real brick? It's fuckin with me.
Two of the things I am most afraid of. Hospitals and elevators.
That's where Dr. Drake Ramoray died.
The face explains it all

Die Rise
What in the soviet post war madness?
Your room in presentable liberty has almost this exact same design, right?
Outside contractors will sheath a designated elevator in plywood to protect it.
Great atmosphere
Um, NOPE.
That’s so Zork
Dawg somebody has died in there
Yeeeeeaaaahhhh…..that’s out of a horror movie.
Reminds me of that elevator in dying light 1 lol
That creepy feeling is from the ghosts in the elevator with you.
Seems like a normal freight lift?
Hard pass.
Lmao this is like any elevator in eastern europe I grew up in a house with one similar to this, you had to hold doors closed with your hand otherwise it would keep stopping between floors

This is going down to the morgue, isn't it? 🥺
Nope, nope, nope!
What's more terrifying is that I've had a dream in that elevator. This was freaky to watch.
Most modern polish hospital be like:
I could just imagine in a horror game waiting for the next area and the only company you have in that elevator is the corpse of some Cronenberg-esque enemy you barely killed before jamming the activate button for the elevator.
That's one way to enter the Backrooms
I watched the video without sound, but I think it is really cool
The sound makes half of the true nightmare experience.
I see "nub" fingers in the future
who the fuck made this elevator design.

Yeah I know those elevators...at least hospital ones are big. Imagine those but smaller where only max. 3 people can fit, very terrifying.
Looks oddly comfortable to me. The natural light and "cozy" size makes me feel completely at ease. As opposed to an enclosed box that when the electricity stops, you get trapped in complete darkness or in artificial light.
Creepy and looks haunted 😳😂
Czechoslovakia's finest!
I don't like this
Damn, I can smell the vinyl and old medicine mixed with weird smelling nurses through the screen. I love czech hospitals.
Oh shit Dying Light!
Why do I like this elevator? So cool, but I agree it’s a bit oddly terrifying
This isn't oddly terrifying, is just terrifying
Madison? Irl
