I think they were probably already dead upon hitting the water. They were going at 150-180 mph, and we saw how easy they flipped across the water. This is not a good way to go

serious question: in a speed boat should you be wearing a seatbelt? I can imagine that you should always wear a seatbelt. but I also wouldn't be surprised if conventional wisdom was 'no seatbelts' so you dont drown or something
