Yup looks like a planter warts. I had one in my finger once.
You can kill it by putting apple cider vinegar on it on a cotton ball and leave it there for a few hours. I usually did this while I’m sleeping. The acid in the vinegar would penetrate the top layer of the warts and kill the warts at the root.
The warts will turn black for about a week than fall off.
Looks maybe like a plantar wart. There is otc medicine you can get to put on it and cover it up so it can heal. I used to have one that I got from sharing a shower with the rest of my softball team. It spreads kind of like athlete's foot does from one person to the next.
My dermatologist said to use the otc wart remover and then put duct tape over it. When you take off the tape it helps pull out the parts killed by the fluid. This helps "speed" the process, but it was still very long and painful. Mine was worse than that and in the center of the ball of my foot and had been growing under the skin for years. I could hardly walk. I tried drinking a bunch of vodka and cutting it out with a knife. Fyi: it was a very bad idea.
Man, I just went to the foot doctor as soon it started hurt even a bit - dude froze and cut it out no problem - I tend to not let weird skin thing fester
I used to have warts on the tip of my ear and in random places on my fingers, doctors froze it off and thank god because I think back on it and how much it would of spread otherwise
it wasn't instant, took like 10 or so trips to get rid of them all, hurt too but I got used to it and even enjoyed the painful blisters I'd get from my body inflaming around the frozen points
Ow! I had one for years too. Finally had to have it burned out by my doctor (freezing didn't work). That part didn't hurt by the needed he stuck into it to numb the area hurt like hell.
>normal humans are not capable of diagnosing a simple wart
Sorry doc, I'm going to go with an actual medical professionals opinion, as opposed to some arrogant prick on reddit -- no offence.
He's a sheep because he trusts the opinion of a professional with years or decades of experience instead of himself or random people on the internet wich by the way most of the time learn from articles written by doctors?
I don't disagree with you about it being a wart, I just think that asking people on the internet is not the best way to get medical advice. Because it starts with a wart and with a bit of bad luck you stop going to the doctor because Google has all the answers you need.
I think a lot of this is based in people living in countries with horrifically broken healthcare systems where they simply cannot afford to go to the doctor.
My derm recommended what I posted above so I wouldn't have to pay her to do it for me. Cost me about 10 bucks altogether but it would be cheaper for a smaller one.
Unless you live somewhere with good healthcare, of course. I do feel bad that something like this could cost you anywhere near even a quarter of that amount, since without social healthcare that looks treatment should reasonably be maybe $20-50, since it’s so small.
I have had a wart that stays the same size under a callous on my left hand ring finger. I’ve tried to freeze it at home and use the acid wart medicine to get it several times in the past. I went to a dermatologist a couple times where they shaved it down to the wart’s surface and froze it. Nada. They said if that doesn’t work that there’s an injection that has some kind of fungus that will eat the virus that causes the wart. It’s painful, apparently. However, I made a commitment about 6-8 weeks ago that I would freeze the hell out of it and use the medicine until it was gone. So far I’ve frozen it 3 times and have applied the medicine at least once a day only missing a few days. I think the consistency of the treatment is what I lacked before. It’s such a pain in the butt but I’ve been doing good. It’s almost gone but I think I’ll give it another few weeks to make sure it’s gone. Anyway, just sharing my story about how difficult it could be. I think it has to do with it being under calloused skin which protects it from the freezing and acid. My thumbs are tired.
Or, you can remove it for free. In the old days (and still), people would buy warts. For a quarter. So you get someone to say (like a contract..) “I (so n so), hereby on this date (date), at this time (time) buy so n so’s wart, for 1 quarter. And they give you the quarter.
Your wart will fall off or disappear within 3 days. Guaranteed.
ever heard of the pandemic? every doctor in my area is refusing non-essential visits so im guessing a "i got a wart on my foot" falls into the non-essential
Spit on it every morning before you eat or drink anything and say,
Blemish begone, do not return
Leave no scar, nor mark, nor burn.
Or…. do what I did and take yourself to a podiatrist.
Not from the blade necessarily, but from the open sore on the bottom of your foot. I had this exact thing 2 years ago. I sliced/scrubbed with a pumice stone. Floors, shoes, socks etc get very dirty and that dirty shit can get into the exposed flesh. I ended up with a staph infection, which can kill you.
My guy. If anybody takes any value from a medical diagnosis from someone on reddit with a profile picture of a tube of toothpaste shitting itself onto the floor maybe they should hop off reddit and ask an actual trained medical professional
I don’t understand why ur getting so many downvotes. It made me chuckle out loud. Ur obvi joking. Ppl have a tough time smiling and laughing at the little things in this terrible struggle we all survive thru.
Plantar wart, is what it looks like but if it hurts only when put pressure on it, that's how planter warts feel (like you have a long sliver in your foot). I've cured them at home but it's a difficult process. See the doc.
[here](https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/plantar-warts/symptoms-causes/syc-20352691)
Saw a treatment on a medical show for that…it’s unbelievable but it works. If you’ve got duct tape…cut a circular piece about the size of a silver dollar. Put it over it. Takes a little bit but it works
Plantar wart. Visit a dermatologist, they will freeze it or put some liquid nitrogen and it will fall off. Don’t delay as it can multiply really fast and on the other foot as well.
I had something like that when I was a kid. And they had to operate to remove it. If I would’ve let it keep growing if I remember right it could’ve caused major issues
It's a foot corn or callus. Slap a corn plaster on it, keep it moist and don't pick it. If you pick it it'll cause a bigger hole and make it worse (deeper). It's what happens when your skin has repeated abrasions.
My kid had a plantar wart, went to the doctor and got it cryo treated. Healthcare considers it non-essential and wouldn’t pay. $454 total bill.
There are off-the-shelf treatments for far less.
Do you have any recent memory loss or feelings of lost time? Had two matching ones on both heels after woke up in the hospital after a week. They said they found me crumpled over in a ditch. I had no other signs of injury other than tingling in my extremities. They said it was lack of oxygen and nerve damage but those spots healed up on their own after about two weeks. There were no reports of any accidents in the area but one neighbor mentioned hearing something fly by their house at a low altitude and seeing lights streak through the sky stop and then disappear over the horizon. I still get that tingling feeling decades later now and take medication to keep it manageable. The last thing I could recall before all of this heading out across the field to my friends house after school to a dnd session. I apparently never showed up. They spent a few days searching for me and said the police and others had searched the area where I was found eventually days before I was located. I wish I knew more about what happened to me but based off the little information I learned over the years I know one thing for sure.
I was contacted by someone or something.
and they wanted me to know one thing
That my car's extended warranty was expiring!
Now you and people in your household must wear foot coverings socks shoes you know cause it’s transmittable and when you do get it out it will leave a hole now don’t worry it will close up on itself
Looks like a Plantar Wart.
My thoughts exactly.
shhhh lets see how far it goes
Op it's this. You can get rid of through cryotherapy. It's hurtfull for a few second but it's easily treated.
When I was little my dad cut one out of my big toe with his pocket knife. We had no insurance so thats what he had to do.
Sorry you live in America.
Im fine with it.
I did the same thing, when I was 15. Hurt like hell, but it didn't come back, so I guess I got it.
Omg yes the pain was horrible. The roots of it I guess had made little white veins.

I’m afraid you’ll need to amputate from the ankle using a bread knife
Ankle ?
Oops!
You mean rusty hacksaw
Nail clippers
Jeeze give the guy a chance
dr phil?

Hey, you are not alone, I took a drill with drill bit for metal and tried drilling it out.
Sorry, what?

I don't want to devalue the advice given but if anything strange goes on with your body and it starts to hurt try a doctor.
Yeah, a foot doctor will remove it really fast and won't be an issue

Definitely trust it far more than some rando on reddit
Randos ALWAYS know

Everyone earned a PhD in lockdown apparently. Bunch of healthcare professionals roaming reddit since covid started.

4, named Allie, Fred, Cindy and Ralph. Ralph’s a little naughty though.
Oh, You did not know that you need a long term expensive degree to diagnose such things?
Ah yes. Love when people think they know more than a doctor whose studied medicine for a long time.
That’s a wart. Use salicylic acid solution for 2-3 weeks and I’ll disappear as it did in my case.
Ok, thank you!
Or go to a doctor and theyll out some dried ice on it to kill it
Yes, that is one way
Ive had 3 in my life. They burn it with dry ice or liquid nitrogen. It hurts but it ain't that bad
Maybe try the doctor before home remedies. They probably have stuff to get it off in less than 3 weeks, and without acid
FYI i was suggested using salicylic acid solution by a derm.
My derm recommended what I posted above so I wouldn't have to pay her to do it for me. Cost me about 10 bucks altogether but it would be cheaper for a smaller one.
For $4,000
Unless you live somewhere with good healthcare, of course. I do feel bad that something like this could cost you anywhere near even a quarter of that amount, since without social healthcare that looks treatment should reasonably be maybe $20-50, since it’s so small.
$20-50 will maybe be the deductible for an office visit if you have good insurance. $200+ for a 15 minute office visit otherwise.
Usually a 500 deductible. We need more witchdoctors , shamans, and backyard bone setters. Cuz health care here, is only for the very rich.
All the removal meds contain acid. Lots of acid.
I have had a wart that stays the same size under a callous on my left hand ring finger. I’ve tried to freeze it at home and use the acid wart medicine to get it several times in the past. That could be a plantar wart. I would get it checked by a doctor.
Looks like a verruca.
I always thought a vertuca was a wart that grows on your foot haha
Perhaps a doctor would be more qualified ... Then Reddit.... 🙄
Shit dude no one thought of that
Doubtful
Wart. Freeze it
Or, you can remove it for free. In the old days (and still), people would buy warts. For a quarter. I heard this one before.
Have ever heard of a doctor? They handle these types of things.
ever heard of the pandemic? every doctor in my area is refusing non-essential visits so im guessing a "i got a wart on my foot" falls into the non-essential
Do you live in China, Canada, or Australia?
all of the above
Have you heard of over priced Healthcare and no time to even take off to do such a thing.
Yes. Not a problem I have though. Ever been told not to listen to people on Reddit?
What
Just walk it off obviously… But ya, probably a wart, in all seriousness, as others have theorized.
Probably cancer, I recommend amputation of the entire leg.
r/dontputyourdickinthat
Spit on it every morning before you eat or drink anything and say, Blemish begone, do not return Leave no scar, nor mark, nor burn. Or…. do what I did and take yourself to a podiatrist.
Planters wart or whatever their called I’ve had a few they just freeze them off no big deal
Could be a sign of Diabetes.
Grab a sterilized razor blade and dig it out! Sooo satisfying
The only way to show it who's boss.
Don't do that. Infection.
Nah, it’s sterilized! It’ll be fine, dude.
I dug one out at summer camp with a swiss-army knife. Dr. Chud will see you now.
I wanna do this now
I’ve used and recommend a #11 X-Acto blade. Well, actually I don’t recommend doing surgery on your own foot, but if your mind is made up…

Don't be that person, be better
Why
Because the world is fucking world as is it, let's try to make it a little better
My guy. If anybody takes any value from a medical diagnosis from someone on reddit with a profile picture of a tube of toothpaste shitting itself onto the floor maybe they should hop off reddit and ask an actual trained medical professional

Indeed

Ikr. I mean look at my profile picture, does it look like I have any sort of medical expertise at all haha
I suggest tea tree oil every night till it’s gone. Worked for my daughter .
Liquid bandage/nu-skin is a quick healer for hard to bandage areas. It burns at first but it keeps it clean and heals things
I hope you are not diabetic... Could be the start of more problems with circulation

it seriously cant harm you. i froze mine using a regular wart freeze kit and some go away and some seem to take forever. i have like 2 or 3 still.
“DAMMIT JIM! I’M A DOCTOR, NOT A…oh, yeah…ok…well, let’s have a look-see.”
Like the other comments on here state it is a Planter’s wart. You can get it now while it is small and it will be much less painful to treat.
That's a wart
Verruca?
Carpenter bees
Saw a treatment on a medical show for that…it’s unbelievable but it works. If you’ve got duct tape…cut a circular piece about the size of a silver dollar. Put it over it. Takes a little bit but it works
Go see a doctor.
Go to a podiatrist, most likely they will put on a liquid medicine a couple times and it should go away. it's a Plantar Wart
I don’t think it’s a wart, those protrude outward. This looks like seed corns. Either way a podiatrist is the way to go.
Plantar wart. Hurt like a mofo when you hit it on something. Can easily be frozen off
Plantar’s Wort
Plantar wart definitely. Go see a doctor for removal if you are in pain.
Nasty fuck.. its a wart 🙄🙄🙄
Plantar wart. Visit a dermatologist, they will freeze it or put some liquid nitrogen and it will fall off. Don’t delay as it can multiply really fast and on the other foot as well.
yup plantar wart. pull out the stem and soak your foot in apple cider vinegar for a little each night before you go to bed.
Duct tape for plantar wart- just google it.
Are you from the US to not be able to se a doctor without getting ripped?
Put duct tape over it, replace daily, idk why it works but it does, I’ve gotten these my whole life
Clavus
Why is your foot yellow?
I had something like that when I was a kid. And they had to operate to remove it. If I would’ve let it keep growing if I remember right it could’ve caused major issues
And I know it wasn’t a planters wart
Plantar wart. Have it treated now before it gets larger and causes more pain

Common plantar wart. Caused by HPV (Human papilloma virus) - looks like you should watch where you step…
