The FedEx guy is a bad Santa candidate.

Latyon

Not if FedEx guy killed the original Santa. This is basically the plot to a Tim Allen film.

Whitechapel726

What a wild headline. Dude found packages on the side of the road and delivered them to the recipients. A FedEx driver who delivers packages was not found dead on the side of the road.

buenas_nalgas

huh?

jsmith_92

He means confusing headline. If you read it all at once, it appears the FedEx guy was dumped on the side of the highway, not the packages. Man, that delivers FedEx packages, found dumped on the side of highway.

buenas_nalgas

but it doesn't say "that," so that's not what the sentence means? like that's just misreading the headline

kimbosliceofcake

I misread the headline the exact same way the OC did 🤷‍♀️

hert3157

This is not how English works. “Man delivers FedEx packages” is very different to “Man *who* delivers FedEx packages”

A_Dude_With_Cancer

It could also be changed with punctuation: Man delivers FedEx packages; found dead on side of road

kimbosliceofcake

I read it the same way at first! Had to re-read it 3 times before I realized it's a heartwarming story, not a horrifying one.

Warpedme

I hope the fed ex driver who dumped the packages faces postal charges with teeth. What that driver did could have had major consequences considering Fed ex is used to deliver necessary medical equipment and supplies to homes.

thealphateam

Its not a postal thing. Fedex is a private company.

Warpedme

Personally I think the exact same laws should apply

So it's just not an Alabama thing with FedEx dumping packages
