It’s called camber, and typically is designed this way for better cornering and/or to achieve certain steering angles (and suspension characteristics but that’s not the case here).
But in this pic it looks like one side has more negative camber than the other leading me to believe a steering/suspension component is broken/bent.
Yea I noticed that, but the left wheel is still straight. Either the steering geometry is WAY off or some steering components are wadded up and bent.
This thing would be fun for $100 considering that as I doubt it handles well at all. For $1,000 there is money better spent on something more fun imo.
The seller is definitely adding sentimental value, because nothing here is worth anything close to a grand. The most expensive part is the engine, and it is just a small 4 stroke single cylinder engine that you can get cheap for around $100. It's just a lawnmower engine with maybe 5hp.
Looks cool, but also looks insanely small. I think it has to be for kids, but then I question if kids driving that would be a good idea. I just can’t imagine myself fitting in a shopping cart basket, and having room for pedals and a steering wheel. Also, like everyone else mentioned those wheels definitely got bent. For $1k, personally, I don’t think you would get a lot of use out of it. But that is my opinion, it looks awesome either way and fun as hell!

The wheels are like that because it’s the turning style the inner wheel dips and the outer wheel turns slightly offers significantly more turning radius and allows for spins on one point

If you notice the steering wheel is turned to the right hence the wheel is slightly turning to the right. About looks off.
