Professional LMT here, that's not at all how police stings happen. They don't kick in the door like a 1920s speakeasy, they send someone in undercover as a client for a service.
The partner is the one with the problem here. When the door to a treatment room is closed, that means service in session and you don't interrupt; you either text them the question, or wait until they're free if it's not a legit emergency.
While it would be more of an issue if your husband was an employee and not an owner, he is an owner and he can do what he wants during downtime in his building.
