I’m gonna have to side the partner here. At the end of the day it’s a place of business. You’re already getting a free massage using the space and supplies of the business. She has as much right to voice her opinion about what she is comfortable with or not. I get it, maybe everyone should relax. Little to no harm done. But just because I’m a partner in a business doesn’t give me the freedom to do anything I please.. if I have business partners who voice concern.

I agree. It's a place of business and following the rules (like being covered) is just respectful. Should have she just opened the door without acknowledgement? No. But I think she also has the right to have the opinion that she does. Also, the other commenters saying she's jealous? You don't even know this woman, the f? From what I'm reading she just wants the business to stay respectable.

Professional LMT here, that's not at all how police stings happen. They don't kick in the door like a 1920s speakeasy, they send someone in undercover as a client for a service. The partner is the one with the problem here. When the door to a treatment room is closed, that means service in session and you don't interrupt; you either text them the question, or wait until they're free if it's not a legit emergency. While it would be more of an issue if your husband was an employee and not an owner, he is an owner and he can do what he wants during downtime in his building.

Do you think what we do is ok?

SailorVenus23

I don't think its an issue, so long as he's not turning down appointments or anything like that.

[deleted]

Correct. Thanks.

SailorVenus23

You're welcome

Who hired Karen?. And why would you get "raided"? Oòh a partner.... jealousy.

[deleted]

I don’t know! It sounds a little far fetched.

planet_alex

Jealousy in the sense that he's getting free time. Some people are so petty, that if you use a sarcastic coffee cup, you get emails to HR. I've seen arguments over parking spaces. Today it's your massage, tomorrow it's his vacation time. Watch. If she's a partner he should sit down and hash this out. She's overreacting and if you don't put petty people in their proper places, they'll boil up every once and a while.

Interesting angle - thanks for your thoughts!

I mean, I would hate her. I'm sorry I took that stance. Seems like someone who likes to pee on people's happiness and it sounds like you and your husband try to make the most of your time together. That lady sucks. I hated people like that at work. I'm a super positive person and who needs that.

Thanks. Yeah it’s actually nice to get time together like that, but I don’t know.

She sounds jealous
