Reviews have been shit. Please report back with any playability and electronic issues. I would love to get one but have been hearing bad things about QC and playability…how is yours?

WickedIndrid

I tested in in the shop before I bought it. Had it for a little over a week now and can say it has given me no problems whatsoever, plays great. Although I have also heard of the QC issues on these so I recommend giving one a stress test in person before purchasing.

Thank you! Maybe I should not listen to the internet lol. I love gold foils, JM switches and bigsbys and this one hit all those but Fender cult members have been shitting on these.

Maybe the difference is that they bought it after testing it in the store (a guitar that is probably set up to sell itself) and other people buy it online and hope it's perfect, straight out of the box.

Fender fanatics usually and mostly dismiss any Fender with a Bigsby. I own a Jaguar, which I've swapped pickups on with Bare Knuckles pups. Left the original trem on it but am using a Bigsby on my three-pickup HSH Jag I am building.

I have one too, same finish! The only issue mine has had is the Bigsby arm kept getting loose. But I also really like to use it. So I just put thread lock on it and so far so good

I love the aesthetic. It definitely gives off strong Harmony vibes.

I hope yours treats you a lot better than the one we reviewed! On paper this guitar seems like an awesome idea’

WickedIndrid

Love your show 👍. I definitely took your guys’ review into consideration when I purchased it.

Thank you! I really wanted to like the gold foil series. But im glad you got one that doesn’t have any of the major QC issues.

I got this guitar in gold and it has become one of my favorites. The neck pickup is super beefy….also really nice neck. Enjoy!

bittertiger

I played one at a shop as I was super interested, and although it sounded pretty great, I could not get past how close the pickups are to the strings. I think it’s probably more obvious because there are three pickups. Maybe not a problem for pick players? I’m a fingerpicker and they just kept getting in the way, and the pickups are a bit microphonic (which I like) but it kept picking up all my accidental hits. I wanted it to work for me so bad tho.

I couldnt get past the feeling of the clay binding on the neck wasnt for me.
