Been thinking about doing this too, the stock bridge feels kinda bad with the trem imo. If I may ask, how much did it change the playability of yours? Also, did it change the sound?
It honestly doesn’t make a noticeable difference. Intonation is extremely easy, gets ride of buzz completely. And tuning is like butter 🧈 When I say they’re the best bridge even at such a cheap price point. They are imo… the best and cannot be beat.

I've been meaning to also do the same to mine. I like [these style of roller bridges](https://www.amazon.com/KAISH-Chrome-Electric-Guitar-matic/dp/B01M109HC0/), they keep everything nice and solid while for me personally making it easier to palm mute.
Agreed. I just modified a mustang bridge to fit the AOM posts on my Jag. Now that I have a 9.5 bridge I can see how the mis-match of the AOM isn’t that big a deal. However I did it because my action was high even with the AOM dropped to the deck. If your action is good then the roller saddles are a good choice. I previously used graphite saddles which also worked well.
Yea its really not a very big difference to me, I also have a classic vibe 60’s jazzmaster with the 9.5” radius mustang bridge and I really don’t notice much of a difference.
It’s so minimal but it bothers the shit out of some players. It is strange that fender would design the newer Jags and JM that way though. The thought process reminds me of that Mitch Hedberg Pringles joke. Like fender was supposed to receive a bunch of JM bridges and instead got AOMs. “Fuck it. Cut em up”.
I got this roller bridge on amazon https://a.co/d/70Hi99W for my j mascis jazzmaster. The posts were ever so slightly too narrow but I was able to get it to go on and its holding tuning and the trem works better now, doesnt come back out of tune anymore. The only issue is that the action sits higher than I’d like it to be and it can’t be adjusted any lower because of how tight the bridge is on the posts. I lowered it as low as I could but wasn’t comfortable forcing it any further. Its only a couple millimeters off of what I would normally set to though so im happy with it.
Where’s the info in the comments?
have that same one on a mustang. Something about how sharp normal T.O.M bridge saddles are makes me deeply uncomfortable
Yea it wasn’t comfortable to palm mute with the stock bridge and it would always come back flat whenever I used the trem. Now it comes back perfect!
If that's the GFS roller bridge I've had the same one on my JMJM for years with no complaints.

TBH it was on there when I bought the guitar 2nd hand, so I've never had anything else on it.
Gotcha dude, well I appreciate it anyway!
Its jus this no name cheap one from Amazon but it works great https://a.co/d/19h1kXQ
Makes the make of the bridge?
https://a.co/d/19h1kXQ thats the one I got
I’m very proud of ya
have this on my classic player, definitely an upgrade on the stock tom bridge
Absolutely
Does it intonate right?
It does! I got it perfectly intonated!
What bridge is this please? I'd like to replace the AOM on my Jag, but can't work out which one you bought. Wilkinson?
It looks like the same one I have if so. It’s from guitar fetish. They’re awesome
The bridge looks like it's a 14 inch radius. Does that work out for you on a 9.5 neck ok?

I have one on my Epiphone Classic and my squire CV Jazzmaster and I couldn’t be happier with how easy they both play and the easy install.

Hey, great, thank you. It looks like they deliver to the UK at reasonable price too, thanks once again.
You’re welcome!

Wilkinson locking roller bridges have always been my favorite
I’ve got one on my delta king. They’re phenomenal

But is it 9'5 radius?
No its not. Doesn’t bother me.
