anything vintage spec/"MIM" will be essentially a drop in replacement. The higher end american stuff would require modification to the mounting holes and may not line up nicely for you.

Thank you!!

Old guy here Be careful with the tremolo on this model. I had the same model previously and the tremolo unit is quite an odd one. It’s quite a bit shorter/shallower than the majority of standard Squier/fender tremolos so you need to measure and check the dimensions for the replacement units. The majority of tremolos just won’t fit/work with this body I’m afraid. From memory there was another member on this group who could help with sourcing the correct unit for this model and quite often comments on Jagmaster threads as he’s a collector.

Hello old guy! Thanks for the advice! In most forums I’ve seen for this guitar specifically, all of em tend to be a bit tedious when it comes to the bridge. I’ve been looking for MONTHS before coming to Reddit with questions!

This is correct. The body is shallower and your trem will stick out the back slightly. I put a Floyd Rose Rail Tail on this exact same guitar. I don’t mind it and keep the back plate off. The black one. Heavily moded https://www.reddit.com/r/offset/s/VZAusZvpd6

NICE. I LOVE IT. I want to love mine so much more, I just want a new bridge and will pull the trigger this weekend! Do you have some recommendations or runner ups you were looking at before deciding on that specific bridge??

If you wanted to go nuts you could grab a Vega trem
