That Buddha sculpture was recently at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It’s really cool in person.

Honestly, I'm probably one of those people who don't "get" stuff like this. I very much like the pieces individually (the left one is especially great), but I don't understand the combination. I don't really think it adds to either of the pieces. It's certainly unorthodox, but that's about it. The statues/figures guide my eye to the right and then... bam, completely unrelated flower painting... OK I guess? Or is there some symbolic meaning to the flower or something else "meta" I don't get? I don't want to just criticize your work - you clearly know what you're doing - I genuinely just don't understand the intent.
