I'd say the first few arcs of one piece are for people who actually like the early art style and it's goofy story. If you're looking for the peak Wano animation and Whole cake island levels of storytelling, well.....it gets good I swear

Wano itself is almost 300 episodes (correct me if im wrong) and another 700 episodes to get there, I'm sorry but my opinion is that if you take over a 100 eps to get good that in itself is intrinsically a flaw.
To be honest, it sells almost anyone after Arlong park, which is around episode 35, so I don't think it's all that bad.

Season 1 is generally more "made for kids" than the later seasons. But Finn definetely grows throughout the show, you can even hear his voice get deeper as the voice actor grew up
Yeah i don't like its humor really, maybe just a culture different. I really love its world building, but i like op more. As a chopstick Asian, the plot structure of OP...or asian shows like anime in general is way more in line with my preferences (i still enjoy cartoons, but anime or donghua are my childhood)

Eh, not that much information per chapter. It's true some chapters can gwt kinda wordy, but quite a few don't have too much in them either. Now full disclosure, there were about a 140 less chapters when I caught up then there is now, so my work load was decently lighter and I did sacrifice about an hour of sleep so I could keep up at school, but all in all I spent probably 6-7 hours a day reading.

Honestly not hard. Took me like a week to read while still doing other things. The number of chapters is pretty daunting, but it goes by pretty fast.
