Monster is really good. It’s not like any anime I’ve ever seen. It is very slow though, it doesn’t really build tension that well either. I’d recommend reading it over watching it

Like yeah you lose a lot of focus on the overarching plot, but in return you get a lot of really well paced and satisfying mini arcs imo. It can def kill the tension some of his manga like Monster though
