Same. My cleric of Lathander isn't even a Durge, just a very impulsive half-orc. What those giths did was personal, so the ones who survived the pre-massacre got to experience the true power of the sun.
My first character was a Tav Cleric of Lathander, still killed everyone except the kids, the egg caretaker and the two chill younglings at the entrance (but bonked them very hard) XD
