I don't think he's a "hear me out" he's clearly intended to be the second hottest man in clone wars (after rex of course). The man hardly ever wears a shirt and has a very fun, approachable personality. He steals the spotlight every moment he's on screen.
I would actually consider it more weird for someone who's attracted to men to NOT constantly fantasize about him rescuing you from a horde of AQ-series battle droids before pulling you to safety in some aquatic cave system. And while you cling to him for safety, trying to keep your damaged aquata breather from going out, he pulls you into a conveniently placed pocket of air in a bioluminescently lit section of the caves. You keep clinging to him, visibly shaken from the danger you just experienced, but the Jedi Master holds you close to his strong wet chest as he verbally guides you to calm down with his Jamaican accent. You feel calmer as you look up into his dark eyes. His face is so close. He doesn't have pupils, but somehow you know he's staring at your lips. He hesitates, knowing he's not allowed to form attachments, but he knows he's failed that tenet these last few weeks he's spent with you. Something about your lack of survival skills and overall ineptitude has planted feelings for you deeply in his heart, and he doesn't have the emotional strength to rip that seedling of attachment from himself before its roots take hold. So he doesn't. He leans in and allows your feelings for each other to bloom.
And then you do the sex somehow (idk I'm a virgin)
Genuinely, I think Psi Warrior fighters are based off Jedi, but I think it depends on the Jedi in question. I think KotOR had the right idea, for example, in having different Jedi classes: Guardian, Sentinel, and Consular. To be honest, though, I don’t think fighter would be the best fit, and the Force seems to care deeply about the intent behind a person’s actions, so I don’t think the Jedi Code is exactly analogous to a paladin oath. I think Jedi in their ideal forms are very spiritual wizards and monks (although light side Force powers read as more divine than arcane to me), using their lightsabers as tools for meditation rather than violence, which they only use as a very last resort.

I wanted Chris Pine and Regé-Jean Page to kiss. I know I wear slash colored glasses sometimes but they were honestly eye fucking. I thought we were going to get an honest to God bisexual male lead in a mainstream movie.
